What a gem this place is. The food is amazing! We had organised a dinner for our members and everyone was very impressed. We chose a short menu of the Rib Fillet, Double Smoked Chicken Carbonara, Lamb Shank, Fish and Chips and the Vegetarian Basket. All the meals were sumptuous and divine. I cannot rave enough about the Vegetarian Basket.... More

I regularly enjoy a meal at The Ship Inn. The menu is varied and very reasonably priced. The lamb salad is one of my favorites and the portions are very generous. Yesterday I enjoyed the crumbed John Dory for a main. It was melt in your mouth delicious. For under $25 in a restaurant in this great location, it represents... More

this place is situated in a good position at the end of the walk through the South Bank Parklands and a much needed stop for lunch! Good size portions I had entree salad which was plenty big enough, great friendly staff. The people coming off the footbridge over the river access the place so it's busy. Popular with local families,... More

Good food, well priced and very good service. Located at the Southern entrance to Southbank it's a great place to sit and watch the world go by.

We were there at 1pm on a Sunday and it was moderately busy. What asked for a high chair and were bluntly told that they were all taken. We ordered and our small toddler was getting very difficult to keep seated in the chair so I walked around the venue and couldn't see any high chairs at any tables. I... More

South Bank is one of the most overpriced places to eat in Brisbane due to the tourists but tucked away in South Bank is this place which we've been meaning to try for ages. We had enjoyable well priced meals here. There is definitely margin for improvement with the meal sizes and quality of the food however. I ordered squid,... More

The food was awesome. Wonderful flavours, great atmosphere, very friendly staff. We stopped by for tapas one Sunday and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We had hoped to return on a Wednesday evening, but they were closed. Will definitely return before our departure from Brisbane. Not far from the Goodwill bridge.
