On a recent Wednesday night we visited the Crosstown Eating House to celebrate a family birthday. The food was great with a varied menu which featured several Bourbon based specials, as bourbon was the feature flavour for the week. The menu is regularly changed to take advantage of seasonal produce. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and there was a big... More

I visited with a friend for Sunday brunch. I have eaten dinner here before and loved it and am happy to say I enjoyed brunch too. The brunch menu is diverse (almost a little eclectic like the decore). My friend had the cheeseburger and I the steak sandwich. The aioli that came with the steak sandwich was amazing as were... We had been wanting to try this place out for a while, last time we went over to the Gabba it was closed, we popped over the other weekend and it was open and more importantly still serving lunch. We’d previously read loads of good reviews so had pretty high expectations, we had a nice table outside and service was... More

This is by far one of the nicest eating places in Brisbane. The staff are so friendly and the food is incredible. They change the menu every so often as well to keep things interesting. As well as this, they have an extensive drinks menu that will please anyone. Make sure you go upstairs and check out the functions room.... More

Weekday night dinner with a girlfriend - I ordered lamb and she had the chicken, coupled with sav blanc and sour cherry cider. Yes, Crosstown is above average in price but what you are paying for is certainly well above average quality! The flavours of the lamb and chicken were to die for. Top of the range meals at a... Ate here on the first night of the new menu. They have a new head chef and have been waiting to see what they came up with. Went berserk and ordered far too much but don't regret it. For future reference, you're better off not trying to cram it all in! Although they can offer "kids food" I tend to... More

This restaurant is within a short walk from the Gabba and tucked away in a quiet little street with parking available. While busy on weekends, the service was friendly and efficient. The food choices were diverse and something for everyone. With a trendy darkened atmosphere which was a little difficult to read the menu for the older customer, the décor... More

What can I say, the staff were excellent, the food great value for money, good for small groups of chatting friends. Will go back again and take a few friends but wouldn't go back as a couple again...but that's just me. Its worth a visit.

I visited this restaurant for lunch today with some family members. The location was fairly central but car parking was difficult at the time we arrived (much better by the time we departed). The interior decor was unique and clever but we all found the restaurant to be very noisy, to the point where it was difficult to have a... More

Went here quite a while ago on a first date. Perfect place for it. We started at the upstairs bar for a drink. Staff informed us when table was ready, though no rush or pressure at any stage. Waiter was excellent - very friendly and knew the menu and wine list so great for advice. Fantastic food which encouraged taste... More
