Husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Esquire and could not have chosen a better location. Overlooking the Brisbane River and the Story Bridge, I highly recommend requesting a table by the windows to take advantage of the great view. When booking, Husband advised of our dietary requirements (he DF, I GF) and they were happy to cater for... More

Esquire is a hidden gem. Located off the hustle of Eagle Street, it is a great restaurant for a Friday lunch or an evening meal. Went with 4 others for a business lunch and the service from the start was attentive, but not overbearing. The staff seem to work in with your schedule and are knowledgeable. Food is great and... We had just been to another gustation place in Brisbane, so was good to compare. The food was presented well and the menu very imaginative, and no issue about 'not enough' food!! A couple of concerns though - we thought that there was an overuse of dried food, and not enough fresh food or vegetable. We also thought that the... More

I honestly believe that this is on a par with Vue de Monde in Melbourne, which is one of Australia’s most awarded restaurants. The food is just as interesting, just as well presented, and I think even beats Vue de Monde in terms of taste sensation. I had read the reviews here, and so took note of the service. It... More

This restaurant received a high rating in the Gourmet Traveller Food Guide so I added it to my Brisbane holiday to give it a go. The dining room is quite open and and has a spectacular view of the Story Bridge and the boats moving up and down the river. The menu is degustation only with a short form and... More

Stunning view of the Story Bridge, Esquire is one of the top three venues in Brisbane. This was our 4th visit and the standard of service and food have always been exemplary. The food has a Hesston feel about it. Cutting edge, new takes on old. The popcorn desert is amazing. All the decision making is taken away with a... More

We had a great experience!! Very accommodating to people with dietary requirements, changing the set menu at the last minute. Well worth the price and food was on par with places like Aria, and Alchemy.

I recently had the privilege of attending a wedding party lunch at Esquire. The staff had set up with one long table down the centre of the main restaurant for about 50 people. I knew these guys had earned three hats for their food and they did not disappoint. Every dish came out with "wow" factor. The first one arrived... More

Fixed price menu. Very expensive. AUD150. No choice, thank goodness. Wine extra. 12 or 13 courses. All new to me. Very imaginative. Not for every day. And not for someone in a rush, but absolutely worth it once in a while.
