Spring Hill Indian

We were staying around the corner, and not wanting to drive, it was great to find an Indian Restaurant so handy. First appearance was underwhelming as there was not a single customer in the place. While the atmosphere is a bit lacking, the food made up for it somewhat. We had a few different dishes... read more

This is an Indian restaurant close to the Grand Chancellor, offers very low taste Indian food. It seems like the ingredients used in the dishes are not authentic and the way they serve the items have not taste of the actual dish. I do not recommend this restaurant to any one, who loves to try Indian food. Quality of the... More

have enjoyed the naan bread, chicken tika and saffron rice on several occasions when visiting Brisbane from the west. Service has been friendly and quick for the takeaway food . The only disappointing thing is that they don't do lunch. Had friends visiting who enjoy Indian food but could not take them there. Value for money with ratio of meat... More

We visited from NZ and loved your dishes and the chicken Tika was the best I have ever tasted. Great food and thanks for making us feel at home. Highly recommended Many thanks for everything

Ordered take away. Been eating curries for most of my 51 years everywhere. The staff were friendly however the chicken tolls masala and palak paneer weren't that flavoursome. The onion in the meat curry was still raw. The garlic naan didn't taste garlicky enough. Sorry.

Thanks to positive reviews by other TripAdviser reviewers we walked up to Indian Taste Buds and enjoyed a delicious, authentically Indian meal served by attentive, courteous young staff. The price for main courses was less than half what we would have paid in the restaurant in our hotel - a bargain. Be sure to order the naan bread!

My measure of a quality Indian Restaurant is based around the quality of the meat used in the curries. Unfortunately my first bite was all gristle and fat, it failed The sauce was full of flavor and the staff were attentive but the meal was distinctly average. OK for a quick bite if you were in the area but don,t... More

To be fair, we were the only people in the place at 7pm on a Saturday night. They didn't have anything we drank, & we were initially going for drinks & snacks. Service was a little strange - they started to chat but cut us off when we answered! However, we ordered a chicken naan & it was quite nice,... More

You will see from my other reviews that I can be a little critical and don't give out high marks easily. However this hidden gem was a real find and I HIGHLY recommend anyone who likes authentic Indian food. Everything we ordered was EXCELLENT, and the only complaint I think anyone could have is that the decor and restaurant itself... More

The other reviews mentioned plastic chairs, however it now has some decent wooden ones. I didn't mind the feel of the place at all, quite cosy. The food was also a very pleasant surprise. Most Indians are very hit and miss, so if you want some nice Indian, at a reasonable price then this is the place.
