This is a newly opened restaurant. Last night was our first time at Wagaya, and we loved it. Good food, reasonable prices, and fun using a touch screen to order everything. Food and drink arrived within minutes of ordering. You order and eat at your own pace. Lots of options too if you don't like Japanese food. It is rated 92% on Urbanspoon

Absolutely loved it here, the food is great and fantastic value for money. There was a group of 5 and we ordered so much food from the extremely efficient ordering system you have at your table, so no need to wait for a waiter to serve you, we couldn't believe how cheap it was. If you like Japanese food, you... More

There was a wait for the restaurant when we turned up at 7 on a Wednesday evening but when we sat down we realised why it was so popular. Great selection, fast service, reasonable prices and good food. We'll be visiting again.

Food was decent, enough variety to suit a room of 11 adults and the priced to suit. Cost for us was around $400. Fun touch screen ordering (take your reading glasses). Portions vary, ideal for smaller parties to share. We were told BYO, in Aus, that stands for Bring Your Own, when we arrived we were told it is BYO... More

This is my go to restaurants for dates or friends catch ups. The food is prepared so well and presentable with touch screen ord ring system. The staff are very polite and the best part is how reasonably priced the cocktails are! I always have a good experience with Wagaya. Best to book a table just in case.

This place is fantastic. Right in China Town in Fortitude Valley. We had a private booth. loved the atmosphere and the seating. Ordering was too easy with the touch screen. Food came out very quickly. Food was fresh and very filling. We had the $69 meal for 2 or 3 people definitely enough for 3. Salmon hot pot, beef, beans,... More

Just OK. it's like food court standard Japanese in a restaurant setting. Way too much fried food and the less said about Fried cheese the better.

Ate here with my brother on a Tuesday night when in town. Interesting concept - all ordering done on touch screens at the table. Food was nice, cheap, fast service, almost too fast! I guess you can stagger your food if you choose to order at intervals. Would return.
