This is a newly opened restaurant. Last night was our first time at Wagaya, and we loved it. Good food, reasonable prices, and fun using a touch screen to order everything. Food and drink arrived within minutes of ordering. You order and eat at your own pace. Lots of options too if you don't like Japanese food. It is rated 92% on Urbanspoon

This place is fantastic. Right in China Town in Fortitude Valley. We had a private booth. loved the atmosphere and the seating. Ordering was too easy with the touch screen. Food came out very quickly. Food was fresh and very filling. We had the $69 meal for 2 or 3 people definitely enough for 3. Salmon hot pot, beef, beans,... More

Just OK. it's like food court standard Japanese in a restaurant setting. Way too much fried food and the less said about Fried cheese the better.

Ate here with my brother on a Tuesday night when in town. Interesting concept - all ordering done on touch screens at the table. Food was nice, cheap, fast service, almost too fast! I guess you can stagger your food if you choose to order at intervals. Would return.

We are a group of 15 people coming from different countries. We had booked a table in advance from 6:30 pm. Our order 'touch screen portal' was switched off at 8 pm and we were told to get up from our table and leave since they had a booking from 8 pm onwards. This is one of the most unfair... More

Been a couple of times for dinner and always awesome. Friendly staff. The service is so fast. And the food is good. The touchscreen ordering system is great, you don't have to wait for a waiter, just click and presto.. food/drink arrives. You're left to your own devices at your own pace without being bothered. Which is awesome. I would... More

This is probably one of the my favourite restaurants in Brisbane. It really does have everything, the food is great, its reasonably priced and the atmosphere is great. Have been here many times and the quality never alters. It is always amazing.

I've been to Wagaya quite a few times, it's just the go to place for a superb Japanese dinner with, well anyone! The interior is stunning, the staff are adorably nice, the waiting system is flawless; having an i-pad like menu to order from so there's no confusion, the prices are ideal, the drinks are delicious and don't even get... besides a well priced a la carte menu, they offer a great range of bento boxes (lunch boxes) for around $13 and its very well served, plus the its pretty cool to visit. You order through an ipad set up on each table. all over a great place to visit

We've been to this place a few times over the last couple of years and I think I'm due to write a review. This is the go-to place to bring relatives/friends from overseas to try something different and fresh. The intuitive touch screen menu is a great conversation starter and is very user friendly for people of all ages. We... More
