This is a newly opened restaurant. Last night was our first time at Wagaya, and we loved it. Good food, reasonable prices, and fun using a touch screen to order everything. Food and drink arrived within minutes of ordering. You order and eat at your own pace. Lots of options too if you don't like Japanese food. It is rated 92% on Urbanspoon

Great place in Brisbane CBD

While this is not the most authentic Japanese food, the restaurant is modern, there is a decent selection of food and drinks and their special dining and function rooms are really cool. I would recommend this for almost any event - corporate, family, friends or date. The whole atmosphere suits.

I had always introduced Wagaya as the best karaoke venue in Brisbane. Now, I have completely changed my mind. A group of 5 arrived on a busy Friday night without a reservation. Upon arrival, we were informed that karaoke rooms with Chinese system installed were fully booked. A real bummer! But we were totally fine with it and then stayed... More

Wagaya is awesome! Food is delicious, I especially like the takoyaki ,the crab , and the creme brulee. Love the ordering system and have always found the staff to be polite. The restaurant is always clean and beautifully decorated.

This place is fun for your first time as it has a touch screen menu. So you just touch, order and wait. Very efficient experience and the food is always fresh. I did notice some food items to be overpriced and under plated but that's life I guess. Recommend anyone to visit at least once.

I've been to this restaurant a few times and this place is probably the Japanese restaurant I would recommend in the China Town area. They have a good variety of small plates to choose from if you just want to sample a bit of everything. From sushi, sashimi to grilled and stirfry to hot pot, you are spoiled with choices.... More

My favourite japanese in Brisbane at the moment. The food may not be the most exquisite Japanese but its fresh, tasty and pretty cheap (we usually pay about $20-30 a head and are full). But the best thing is the touchscreen monitors with which you order the food! The staff are great and can usually find a table even when... More

A very interesting, novel way of ordering ones food at Wagayu- simply use the touch screen computer, which is located either on the table or wall to order a meal. Benefits of this is ones meal arrives quickly. Downside is that one hardly interacts with a waitress and if one doesn't eat fast enough, the next dish one has ordered... More
