This is a newly opened restaurant. Last night was our first time at Wagaya, and we loved it. Good food, reasonable prices, and fun using a touch screen to order everything. Food and drink arrived within minutes of ordering. You order and eat at your own pace. Lots of options too if you don't like Japanese food. It is rated 92% on Urbanspoon

Worst hospitality across the globe

We are a group of 15 people coming from different countries. We had booked a table in advance from 6:30 pm. Our order 'touch screen portal' was switched off at 8 pm and we were told to get up from our table and leave since they had a booking from 8 pm onwards. This is one of the most unfair... read more

Been a couple of times for dinner and always awesome. Friendly staff. The service is so fast. And the food is good. The touchscreen ordering system is great, you don't have to wait for a waiter, just click and presto.. food/drink arrives. You're left to your own devices at your own pace without being bothered. Which is awesome. I would... More

This is probably one of the my favourite restaurants in Brisbane. It really does have everything, the food is great, its reasonably priced and the atmosphere is great. Have been here many times and the quality never alters. It is always amazing.

I've been to Wagaya quite a few times, it's just the go to place for a superb Japanese dinner with, well anyone! The interior is stunning, the staff are adorably nice, the waiting system is flawless; having an i-pad like menu to order from so there's no confusion, the prices are ideal, the drinks are delicious and don't even get... We've been to this place a few times over the last couple of years and I think I'm due to write a review. This is the go-to place to bring relatives/friends from overseas to try something different and fresh. The intuitive touch screen menu is a great conversation starter and is very user friendly for people of all ages. We... More

I was introduced to this place by some friends and I'm so glad I was. I love the concept of ordering our own food in our own time through the table machine. It's always a great way to keep the drinks coming too. Great for a first date as you don't have waiters constantly interrupting or great for a group... More

I always return to Wagaya when in Brisbane. This restaurant is very different in that you order from an electronic menu. Service is fast and the food is amazingly authentic Japanese. The range of food is breathtaking and the decor is smart and always clean. My favourite was a Japanese pancake (okonomiyaki). There is a good range of drinks available,... More
