Description: This is a newly opened restaurant. Last night was our first time at Wagaya, and we loved it. Good food, reasonable prices, and fun using a touch screen to order everything. Food and drink arrived within minutes of ordering. You order and eat at your own pace. Lots of options too if you don't like Japanese food. It is rated 92% on Urbanspoon

We've been to this place a few times over the last couple of years and I think I'm due to write a review. This is the go-to place to bring relatives/friends from overseas to try something different and fresh. The intuitive touch screen menu is a great conversation starter and is very user friendly for people of all ages. We... More

I was introduced to this place by some friends and I'm so glad I was. I love the concept of ordering our own food in our own time through the table machine. It's always a great way to keep the drinks coming too. Great for a first date as you don't have waiters constantly interrupting or great for a group... More

I always return to Wagaya when in Brisbane. This restaurant is very different in that you order from an electronic menu. Service is fast and the food is amazingly authentic Japanese. The range of food is breathtaking and the decor is smart and always clean. My favourite was a Japanese pancake (okonomiyaki). There is a good range of drinks available,... More

A great place to take a group of friends! Very cute, cosy & private booths! Very fresh & tasty authentic Japanese cuisine! Lots of share plates as well as tasty individual mains. The staff don't speak much English but everything is ordered through your own online menu! Very simple & quick! Food is delicious & all reasonably priced! Great central... More

Have dined at Wagaya many times and thoroughly enjoyed each experience! Love the novelty idea of ordering your meals on the screen at your table and enjoyed the izayaka style by sampling many small plates. The place does get packed so a booking is recommended. They also do two seatings 6-8pm or 8-10pm. Don't forget it's BYO wine too. There... More

High tech way of ordering food and within minutes the delicious spread is in front of you. Great food, good service and reasonable prices. Been here a few times and will certainly be back again.

Had to wait about 10-15 mins for a table which is pretty good for rocking up without a booking on a Saturday night. It was definitely worth the wait. Ordering off a touch screen letting you see a picture of everything you order is great. Everything was fresh, quickly brought to your table and great value. Will definitely be going... More

I like having a waiter who can explain a menu, not an unpleasant person who indignantly refers you to a screen at the end of the table and is not prepared to answer any question. The booths were uncomfortable, the lighting in the booth was like an interrogation room and the food was ghastly. A combination of horrible cooking fat... More

Wagaya is awesome!! We have been a few times and we are impressed. The individual booths, the food, the service and the atmosphere have always been very good. My family loves using the touch screen ordering system. They are always busy on the weekends so you must book.
