I took my girlfriend out for dinner and she is a big fan of Japanese food. She loved the idea of ordering on a computer screen and the food was very delicious! It made our dinning experience fun and something different to how Japanese restaurants normally are. They also have a good drinks menu!

Went in with a party of 10 on Fathers day, and had booked a private room. Was semi traditional with sunken seating etc however the layout was a pain in the butt. You need to keep getting up from the table to order via the screen, given the online menu is larger than the laminated one people had to keep... More

We came here twice in one visit to Brisbane after discovering it by chance. The unique ordering system makes a lot of sense - waiters are there to bring your food to you and to help you rather than running orders back to the kitchen. It also makes "lazy eating" a lot more fun, if you are the type to... More

We had a bit of a wait to get in. It's obviously a popular place. Loved the booths. Loved the concept of ordering via the computer screen. Loved being able to watch the order as it went through the system and being able to check on the bill. Great idea all round. Unfortunately didn't really like the food. My friend... More

We came here two months ago with a group of 20. We loved it so much we booked three weeks in advance to have dinner again on a scheduled trip to Brisbane for our family of three, this weekend. It did not disappoint. Great menu, great service, great food! EVERY restaurant should have touch screen technology. Seriously. And sashimi salad.... More

My friend had a function here recently and I enjoyed the style of ordering (through a computer screen inside the booth they had reserved for us). It didn't take too long for the food to arrive, and the gyoza and karage were both very good, the stir fry and the salt-based ramen were okay. l All the staff were very... More

We went to Wagaya Restaurant on a Tuesday night with our adult children. Despite being a weeknight, the place was pretty full, although as there are so many reasonably secluded booths it doesn't feel at all crowded. Each booth has a touch screen for you to order both your food and drinks and is really easy to navigate. The food/drink... More

This place is a hidden gem, with touch screen menus to order your meal on and the ability to book a private room I though this place was going to be good but the food was simply spectacular would go back in a flash

This is my favourite Japanese restaurant of all time. It's authentic, it's busy but intimate at the same time, it's funky and innovative and we love eating with friends or our little family! The touch screen ordering system is such a novelty for our little ones, the food is quick & so tasty. Wish we could eat here every night!

I have been here a few times, always in a big group and always in a VIP room. It is a great location to celebrate someone's birthday or some other event and you can fit about 12-18 people in those VIP rooms reasonably comfortably depending on how large you are and how much personal space you need. The bill will... More
