Great food, busy and a bit noisy but well worth it, hard to get a seat sometimes. Lamb Souvla and lemon potatoes mmmm.
Had dinner with my husband last week at the Taverna as we have always enjoyed going there. We were very disappointed with our meals, a lot of reheating done in my eyes and the Greek salad was nearly all cucumber! Thought we would try honey puffs for desert, what a let down mine were cold and my husbands still frozen!... More
I have been in Brisbane three days and I have eaten in this gem of a restaurant three times. Pity they are not open for an early Breakfast. The staff all of them are delightful and so very helpful with directions like where where can I buy those brilliant green peppers .............Mick's Nuts nearby of course.
Good quality food, pretty reasonably priced too. Rudest waiter though, really lacking, I don't think he new what a smile was, maybe just an off day for him. I was just not a big fan of sitting on an angle next to traffic lights and walking literally half a block down a driveway for the bathroom. A bit tight on... More
This place is fantastic, a real taste of West End. West End is an eclectic mix of personalities and Little Greek is a part of that. I have only ever eaten lunch here. The food is great (I've tried about a third of their menu), the service is great and they are BYO as well. I noted that one reviewer... More
In a city where you can spend a fortune on meals this was a refreshing change of fare. We ate exceeding well, the food was delicious and the service excellent. The flexible menu made it very easy for a table of 6 to share many types of Greek dishes. We ordered an appetizer plate that was the perfect amount as... More
Fabulous food, great service, good value. It doesn't get better than this for greek banquets. It makes my mouth water just writing this review.
This place is a gem! We arrived here for our 6:30 Saturday evening booking (we only booked 2 days in advance) and this place was easily the busiest establishment in the West End restaurant district. While the place is small, there are still quite a number of tables available, and as soon as one table vacated, it was filled again... More
Very disappointed! They use Lemon Squeeze (fake lemon juice) instead of real lemons on their greek salad, potatoes and lamb. No slices of lemon came out with haloumi, lamb or calamari, when I asked several times for lemon slices, I received a bowl of Lemon Squeeze, when I asked for real lemon I was met with a confused look, I... Delicious food, good sized portions and very good value for money. Only negative is poor staff attitude and lack of friendly service - management needs to take action to change this.
