Pasta was tough and undercooked, filling was bland. Pork belly main was undercooked and the skin was not crisp. My son's chicken was too salty. Flavours lacked complexity and interest. I wonder if the usual chef was off. The service was prompt obliging and friendly.

This used to be our go to restaurant when we wanted to entertain visitors, but over the past twelve months something has happened and the food quality and presentation as well as the service has failed to meet our expectations. The $50 - 3 course weekday menu Tuesday to Thursday, sounds like good value but the meals just don't measure... More

My husband and I dined on a week night. It was a beautiful dining experience. The food was first class and they also had a good selection of wines. I highly recommend the Barramundi dish and the Turkish delight panacotta dessert!

I have driven past this place a dose. Times and decided to give it go. The name intrigue me and the food definitely didn't disappoint. The vegetarian menu may require some more thought but over all it was a nice experience.

I have eaten here several times in the past, mainly in the evening, so I was looking forward to a lunchtime treat leading up to Christmas. We booked online and had to call to confirm the booking - all was OK, but not as simple as perhaps it should have been. Arriving at the restaurant, we were the first patrons... More

Dining alone last week found Azafran in the entertainment book. what a find. Good service & wonderful food. The entree of goose liver, pear & brioche was superb, The main course of duck confit with cotechino was great. Cotechino as good as in Italy. Dessert of, turkish delight pannacotta may not have won a prize for texture however the rose... More

My wife and I have visited this lovely suburban restaurant a few times now. Each time our experience has been a good one. The fish of the day is always good as is the beef and chicken. The creme brulee is exquisite! The Manager and his staff are French and always efficient and courteous. Inside dining is cosy and warm... More

There must have been a change in management recently because this place has has taken a major step up. Was always a reliable enough local at a decent price, but is now fine dining. Not cheap, but very happy to pay for food of this quality. Three meals, all excellent. Ambiance OK, but not for those who want chic and... More

This is one of the best meals I've had in Brisbane. We went to a degustation night and had the matching wines. They explained everything we ate and drank, so it was enjoyable as well as a learning experience. So delicious - because they are held mainly during the week means you don't just have to save this restaurant for... More

As they say, this really is a little gem in the suburbs. We had breakfast there today and the food, service and atmosphere were all great. We each had something different but my home-baked croissant filled with fabulous ham and gruyere cheese hit the spot. I had a side of grilled haloumi and was flat out eating everything on my plate.... More
