Nice dinner but not amazing.

I haven't been to this restaurant for about 8 years and decided to revisit on a chilly Saturday night with friends. Finally a restaurant that promotes BYO. Let me add it is at off peak times but that's OK. Corkage fee was reasonable to us and the menu was excellent to compliment the wine we wanted to drink. They decantered our wine for us also. Service was friendly, restaurant was busy, artwork on the walls memorable. Why aren't we giving this... More

It is always a pleasure to dine at Azafran. I was recently there in a party of 12 celebrating a friend's birthday. We had a set 3 course menu that offered three choices per course. Every dish I had was attractively presented and tasted delicious and the service was professional and friendly. It is a great place to entertain and... More

Visited Azafran on Saturday night with no great expectation as we had been burnt by "suburban" restaurants in the past with big promises but little follow through but were really surprised by what we found. We walked is a very small front dining area but our table was in a private room in the back part of the restaurant -... More

We went to this incredible restaurant for the first time the other weekend. As we walked in we were very pleased by the lighting, the paintings on the walls and the general atmosphere. The staff were all very considerate of our dietary requirements and we had a most wonderful meal. The bread starter was huge and not what we expected... More

my friends and I recently dined at this restaurant we were really impressed with most dishes as a Starter you can't go wrong with their seared scallops they are to die for, I would have had a whole plate full absolutely delicious, for the mains we had a beef fillet which my friend highly recommends and so did the waiter,... Great food, great service, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Every meal was met with the same remark from the four of us - great! Apparently (although I did not partake) the turkish delight pannacotta is out of this world. Will definitely go there again.
