Went to this coffee shop after hearing about the great coffee. Interesting concept with the shop in the roasting house. However, what I found was awful bitter coffee and the food ordinary. Table Staff were pleasant, friendly and efficient. The coffee shop was crowded, the outlook was in an industrial area - yuk, parking was difficult. This was a most... More

Having visited quite a few times, I am always pleased with the friendly staff. Queueing up for take away coffee (although I'm mostly there for beans) can be a pain, as there isn't a very open waiting area in front of their LM, but it's worth it. Especially for a Vellouto blend cup, certainly one of the best espresso-based coffees... More

This was once my very favourite location for coffee in Brisbane but have had several dissappointing experiences lately. I have never been attracted to the food - standard coffee shop fave but even the coffee has been sub par of late. The speed of service is always great and the pricing reasonable but I sadly admit to looking for a... More

Visited for the first time for breakfast on a Saturday and couldn't believe the location. Tucked away in semi industrial area the place was absolutely packed with a line up for takeaway. Parking was difficult and resulted in a fair walk but was worth it. Managed to get a table without too long a wait. Staff were attentive and helpful.... More

This place is good and cool one for having a coffee. Amazing service and coffee in a semi industrial area is the highlight and makes this place be more special. Parking can be a problem but worth a visit, and crossing for a cup of coffee

Coffee was oily and bitter. Food uninteresting. I was really surprised having heard really good things about this coffee shop. Of the locale is a back alley in an industrial area; and the coffee complimented the dirty streets outside.

Last Saturday a week my brother-in-law & his wife invited my wife and I for lunch at the Elixir Coffee House. I must say when we drove down Hayward Street we saw it was an Industrial area on thought ''what's up''. They pointed to an unimpressive red building with a large group of people on the sidewalk under umbrella's and... More

If you are looking for somewhere different to have coffee then this is it. Amazing service and coffee in a semi industrial area makes this place special. Parking can be a problem due to popularity but worth a visit.

Elixir is my very favourite coffee place in brisbane. Their coffee is just delicious and indescribably good!!!! They are also my favourite because I am lactose intolerant and they have zymil milk! So I don't have to endure the horrid taste of soy in coffee. The food is awesome as well, I've only ever been for breakfast, but if their... More
