My daughter took myself and my wife to this restaurant for my birthday, place looked ok so we decided to have a meal there. Firstly the service was poor as we waited for at least ten minutes to be recognized and there were only 4 diners in the whole place. Then it took a long time to get asked if... More

We were wandering around Southbank and stopped into have a drink looked at the menu and decided to have a meal. What a meal it was I had salt & pepper calamari and it was a huge serve and the best I have even tasted. Our mains were very delicious as was the deserts. The staff were extremely attentive and... Wandered to Southbank after arriving in Brisbane that afternoon. Found the club, no sign in necessary had a drink, reasonably priced considering the location. Decided on a meal. Salt and pepper calamari one of the best ever. Risotto for main was good and cape grim steak was cooked to my liking. Reaonably priced food and drinks made it a good... More

Not your typical Aussie Surf Club. No sign in required etc. Food average but great location and views

Stupid pricing, $30 for two average cocktails, one a virgin. Good spot to people-watch though. Disappointing

This is the second time I have dined here and have not been disappointed. It was great to have a table in the sun with a light breeze when many of the restaurants are in the shade. Coffee was great. The meals were also good value and served in good time. We opted for lighter dishes, pulled pork, wagyu beef... More

It was my last day on the Goldie with close family friends and they took me here for breakfast.... WOW! We had been eating meals all over the Goldie for 2 weeks, but this was the best brekkie ever! Eggs Benedict for me with bacon on the side and it was without doubt the best Eggs Benny I had ever... More

Me and my friend have been travelling for the past 6 weeks around Australia to celebrate her 50th birthday. We have been for many meals throughout that time and Surf club was by far the best experience. The bar and waiting staff were all really friendly and helpful when it came to recommending food and wine! The food itself was... More

Four of us were in Brisbane over the long weekend and chose to have breakfast here on Saturday. The location lovely, the atmosphere vibrant, however the food ordinary and the service terrible. I asked for Bacon, avocado and tomato with sourdough toast (all extras as not available as a meal). The sourdough toast was the size of a small potato... More

I booked us for a Saturday night 7pm dinner for a 30th birthday. My partner and I flew back up from Melbourne and he wanted to go somewhere relaxed and we had been here a few times before we left Brisbane. No complaints previously but this time was terrible. I made a point of telling the restaurant this was going... More
