A great place to enjoy Sunday mornings - good seats in the sun on the balcony upstairs - excellent view of the southbank market stalls downstairs and the southbank beach. Service is reasonable and food is good. I highly recommend the eggs benedict!

My wife and I and our kids go here a lot. We meet friends here (easy, great feel, relaxed, accomodating), and we also bring out-of-towners here too. Really good food, but done in a great relaxed Queensland atmosphere (relaxed Qld, but not outdated, daggy Qld). Great beers on top too. We have also held a work function at SBSC, and...

Way overpriced for what you recieve. Ordered the 'boogey board' - a selection of bruschetta for $16.50 - literally four mouthfuls. Burger and fries - the meat pattie was the only good thing about it. Who uses a suger McDonalds bun on a $21.00 burger?!?! Enough said.
We were lucky enough to score one of the tables in the loft area overlooking Streets beach for lunch on Easter Saturday and we had a wonderful view. The young waiter who served our table was friendly, attentive and professional. All entrees were beautiful and well presented and most of the mains were also - but the grilled fish was...

Sunny Brisbane afternoon and great spot overlooking river and city. Cold beer, tasty snacks and amazing very friendly staff. Great spot!
The atmosphere was great, along with the friendly attentive staff, but the food was a little disappointing considering the amount we paid.
Food service was fast as was the drink service with attentive staff filling our water jug before it even got empty all night. Tried a few cocktails (Very expensive) some were too strong to drink while others tasted...

The most ordinary, over priced meal I have had since I don't know when. For the prices charged I would expect a meal to be served with a few different vegetables or a salad. Very poor presentation.
My husband had Surf n Turf. What a sad looking meal. Half a tiny Moreton Bay Bug and small eye fillet of steak...

After a great morning at the GOMA we decided to walk over to south bank for a cold drink. We chose the surf club having had eaten here before about 12 months ago. After waiting 10 mins to get served at the bar, having been glared at by the very unfriendly bar man, had my money taken without so much...
