Tasty Burgers

Stopped by with a group of 6 just before closing time. Despite the kitchen staff being close to finishing, they were happy to cook us a burger each to take away. The ground rump burgers were full of flavour and the salad ingredients tasted nice a fresh. Reasonable value for a large burger that is... read more

We don't know how all of these other burger joints get so popular with such small, tasteless, and expensive burgers... but thank goodness for Beastie Burgers as it's pretty much our number one dining option in all of Brisbane. Just a burger alone will more than stuff you and the prices are cheaper than all of the competition. There is... More

Conveniently located in Southbank (for those of us on foot in the city and good for people watching). The staff were fairly friendly, and there was nice outdoor seating (nothing fancy at all, plain tables). For $38 AUD, we got 2 burgers, fries (extra cost), and split one beer. They provide a free container of cold tap water (tastes fine... More

Had a meal here a few weeks ago with friends. All 4 of us were disappointed with our meals. Burger called "skyscraper" was far from it, a "footlong" hot dog fell way short of a foot and when we questioned the staff about whether it was the hotdog actually ordered they looked sheepishly and said "yeah, it's not really a... Fantastic burger at reasonable priced. I'm in love with the Frenchie! The chips are more like wedges and I can't say they are my favourite but the burgers are big enough that I don't bother getting any.

Quite expensive for what it is - we checked their online menu which showed burgers with prices ranging from $9.00 - $11.50. However when we arrived and checked their in-store menus, the burgers (same names and ingredients etc) were $14+, which was disappointing. Also, they did not have the option of gluten free buns for their burgers, again disappointing. The... More

Had lunch here with some overseas visitors following a trip into the Southbank. Burgers are ground rump steak and tasted pretty good with a nice choice. Pretty good value for "real" burgers compared to the mass produced offerings and even some of the local competition. Not keen on the potato wedges though - more attention needed to potato selection and... More

Got the City Cat and got off to have a look round the "City Beach". We were staving and asked at trourist information for a nice burger place - not a Mac D's (no offence - too many kids usually). He directed us to Beasties and the portion were huge and the burgers were very tasty. If you are hungery... More

The burgers are nice.Freshly made and served hot. But my, they are big. You will not need any sides with these and have a cleansing drink with them. Nice food though.

Have been here a few times. Service is a little ordinary to be honest but the burgers are generally really nice. The onion rings are a winner too!
