ARIA Brisbane, located on the Eagle Street Pier, provides the quintessential Brisbane dining experience, with striking views from the restaurant of the Brisbane River. Owned by chef Matt Moran and restaurateur, Peter Sullivan, ARIA boasts a well-balanced seasonal menu, featuring local and Australian produce and an award winning wine list, served in an elegant dining room with stunning views. "If it's fine dining you seek, in a split-level expanse of understated elegance that affords sweeping city views, this sibling to Matt Moran's southern star ticks the boxes. Add a stellar cellar selection, with a thoughtful nod to Queensland wineries, plus accomplished service and you've hit the right notes, particularly for corporates and lovers of occasion. There's obvious skill, attention to detail and quality produce on show from opening chords to final flourish. Succulent pork belly has perfect golden crackling, while plump duck dumplings, abalone and mushrooms swim in a Peking duck consomme. Kingfish baked in cedar bark has its wrapping set alight en route to the table, adding a welcome smokiness. Creamy custard tart alongside figs, apple slices and candied walnuts has real retro charm. A sweet farewell gift box of miniature macarons rounds out a night to remember." Gourmet Traveller Australia

Amazing service with an incredible view!

We did not have a reservation at the time but the gentleman at the front desk, Jeremy was more than happy to seat us at a beautiful table one back from the window which was surprising PERFECT! The tables at the window, one seat sat side on from the water whereas we both faced the water in the table... read more

The mighty ARIA. Expectations were very high. The ambience of the restaurant was excellent with the lovely views of the Brisbane river and Story bridge, right lighting, right noise levels and comfortable seating. We never felt we were waiting for our food from the time of placing our orders. A team of wait staff attended to table service. A preview of... More

The only word to some up my experience is amazing! Love this place. Great meals, prices are a little $$, but it's worth every cent!

Always make a point of having lunch here when in Brisbane. Food and service excellent. Maitre de, Jeremiah was welcoming and provided excellent wine knowledge. Always leave feeling I had great value for money.

My sister and I went to Aria (Brisbane) today for lunch. The overall service was great. The waiter and waitress were very nice and polite. However, the waiter served me an already expired bottle of cider. I actually had quite bit to drink before I noticed the expiry date. While the waiter apologised, this incident has left a bad taste... More

We had the 2 course lunch specials matched with wine, very reasonably priced. The service was impeccable and highly recommend this restaurant.

Took the family to Aria for a milestone birthday. A treat because it is at the expensive end of the scale, but the food alone is worth every cent. Had the four course share plate menu, and they were kind enough to swap the kingfish for bug, which was great. Could not fault the food, every single morsel was a... More

My meal was delicious, service was great. We were lucky enough to get a table looking out to the story bridge - beautiful view. A beautiful bottle of wine. My husband didn't enjoy his steak, but entree, breads and petit fours were delicious. Maybe a wrong choic for main.

Have been to this restaurant many times. Unfortunately the food and service continues to decline. On the last occasion the food was horrendous, slow, overcooked or cold. Sides did not arrive with main. Wait staff were ok, but then I received a telephone call mid meal asking if I was still planning on meeting my reservation. Really? There were not... More
