ARIA Brisbane, located on the Eagle Street Pier, provides the quintessential Brisbane dining experience, with striking views from the restaurant of the Brisbane River. Owned by chef Matt Moran and restaurateur, Peter Sullivan, ARIA boasts a well-balanced seasonal menu, featuring local and Australian produce and an award winning wine list, served in an elegant dining room with stunning views. "If it's fine dining you seek, in a split-level expanse of understated elegance that affords sweeping city views, this sibling to Matt Moran's southern star ticks the boxes. Add a stellar cellar selection, with a thoughtful nod to Queensland wineries, plus accomplished service and you've hit the right notes, particularly for corporates and lovers of occasion. There's obvious skill, attention to detail and quality produce on show from opening chords to final flourish. Succulent pork belly has perfect golden crackling, while plump duck dumplings, abalone and mushrooms swim in a Peking duck consomme. Kingfish baked in cedar bark has its wrapping set alight en route to the table, adding a welcome smokiness. Creamy custard tart alongside figs, apple slices and candied walnuts has real retro charm. A sweet farewell gift box of miniature macarons rounds out a night to remember." Gourmet Traveller Australia

Useful for me in one way

I usually only comment on a decent restaurant if i do the degustation - otherwise its not noble. the degustation should be where the chef really state his/her/their case. we had a very good dinner at Malt 3 days later but i may not review as we only did al a carte. we shall see.... Definitely a fine dining experience. Came here a couple of years ago and the food experience was amazing. Staff service was A1, location great. Definitely not for kids. I really enjoyed the experience BUT have had the experience at other places that give the same service and food for better value. I wouldn't go back but I can say I... More

We have dined at Aria about 4 or 5 times now, and I only have positive things to report. The service is consistently good, the food is great, the drinks menu as you would expect, and the bar at the front is quite nice too. The view across the Story bridge is one of the best in town especially if... More

What a lovely time I had . Very spoilt. We decided to go with the 4 courses, fish, pork, duck, ,desert. Degustation was beautiful, filling and the wine to match. Well priced and couldn't fault, service was excellent. Yes it's a little expensive but it's worth every cent.

GREAT - for the tasty food and the interesting menu. Inventive association - for the location: superb view on the river - for the service: attentive, discrete a really great option on the river bank in Brisbane

My son & I decided to dine here on a Friday evening. We were immediately seated at one of their best tables, once they could tell we were from out of town. My tri-tip was tough and bland and I couldn't even really chew it so I was disappointed because it's one of my favorites and feel I can cook... More

This was my first visit to Aria, Brisbane. Our group of four was celebrating a special occasion. We were met and taken to a window table with views of the Brisbane river from the Storey Bridge to the Gabba Cricket ground. An impressive menu and even better wine list was studied and after an interesting cocktail the scallops seared and... More

Took clients for a Spanish lunch. Service was very good as were the meals with the matching wines. Two course lunch with matching wines & coffee: $59 - great value at this level. Aria is a safe bet for a great experience - even if the decor is a little staid.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aria and I must say the service was the highlight. Our Sommelier was excellent and took a real interest in looking after us.
