ARIA Brisbane, located on the Eagle Street Pier, provides the quintessential Brisbane dining experience, with striking views from the restaurant of the Brisbane River. Owned by chef Matt Moran and restaurateur, Peter Sullivan, ARIA boasts a well-balanced seasonal menu, featuring local and Australian produce and an award winning wine list, served in an elegant dining room with stunning views. "If it's fine dining you seek, in a split-level expanse of understated elegance that affords sweeping city views, this sibling to Matt Moran's southern star ticks the boxes. Add a stellar cellar selection, with a thoughtful nod to Queensland wineries, plus accomplished service and you've hit the right notes, particularly for corporates and lovers of occasion. There's obvious skill, attention to detail and quality produce on show from opening chords to final flourish. Succulent pork belly has perfect golden crackling, while plump duck dumplings, abalone and mushrooms swim in a Peking duck consomme. Kingfish baked in cedar bark has its wrapping set alight en route to the table, adding a welcome smokiness. Creamy custard tart alongside figs, apple slices and candied walnuts has real retro charm. A sweet farewell gift box of miniature macarons rounds out a night to remember." Gourmet Traveller Australia

Aria is not cheap but the service and quality did not disappoint. The attention we received was very good and the service was brilliant. Food was very good too. You may expect a lot out of a more expensive restaurant and feel flat about it but Aria performed well. There is bar area for pre-dinner drinks. Brisbane River views along... More

We dined here a little later in the evening as we had been at a birthday party on Riverside. No problems though, the staff were still as attentive and professional as one would expect from a fine dining restaurant such as this. Food was great without being mind-blowing and the value was actually very good for Main, Dessert and a... More

My fiancé and I came here for our anniversary, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. Service, view and ambience were pure perfection. We were given a complimentary appetiser and sourdough bread which were so tasty. We ordered the pork belly and scallop starters - these were tasty although I wouldn't rave about them. For mains... As a group of four we had the Winter Tasting Menu = Seven Courses with Matched Wine - $245 per person. It was sublime...from the moment we walked in the door. Attentive world class service, great ambiance and decor with a stunning view over the river to the Story Bridge. Flawless delivery coupled with mouth watering dishes made for a... More

The sour dough was superb. Pork belly a bit dry. Duck very good flavour. Beans were murdered and drenched in caramelised onions. Steak was tasteless.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Aria on Saturday night. Right from our entry into the restaurant, we were made to feel special. The service, food and ambience was perfection. We had an amuse bouche, the Moreton Bay bug entree, and the duck main course. My husband had two desserts: we both had the doughnut dish. We... More
