ARIA Brisbane, located on the Eagle Street Pier, provides the quintessential Brisbane dining experience, with striking views from the restaurant of the Brisbane River. Owned by chef Matt Moran and restaurateur, Peter Sullivan, ARIA boasts a well-balanced seasonal menu, featuring local and Australian produce and an award winning wine list, served in an elegant dining room with stunning views. "If it's fine dining you seek, in a split-level expanse of understated elegance that affords sweeping city views, this sibling to Matt Moran's southern star ticks the boxes. Add a stellar cellar selection, with a thoughtful nod to Queensland wineries, plus accomplished service and you've hit the right notes, particularly for corporates and lovers of occasion. There's obvious skill, attention to detail and quality produce on show from opening chords to final flourish. Succulent pork belly has perfect golden crackling, while plump duck dumplings, abalone and mushrooms swim in a Peking duck consomme. Kingfish baked in cedar bark has its wrapping set alight en route to the table, adding a welcome smokiness. Creamy custard tart alongside figs, apple slices and candied walnuts has real retro charm. A sweet farewell gift box of miniature macarons rounds out a night to remember." Gourmet Traveller Australia

Great food and service

Came here from an anniversary - delicious food, fantastic service and just an all round enjoyable experience. They brought out a cute little 'happy anniversary' dessert plate at the end which was a cute touch.

My wife and I dined at Aria for lunch yesterday. Great position right on the river. This is a "fine cuisine" restaurant. Five stars for food, atmosphere and service. It is expensive however the great value option is the 2 course option for $58 or the 3 course option for $72. Plenty of complimentary breads, a complimentary appetiser and complimentary... More

Everything you hear about Aria is true. Marvelous in every aspect, and not as pricey as you may suspect. If you are looking for a fine dining experience, go to Aria.

I can't fault my food. Was delicious. I had the wagyu special for mains which was simply divine. Unfortunately they had run out of the special for my husband, but the chef offered to make up the same dish using one of their premium cuts which was recommended by the waitress- not nearly as tasty in comparison sadly, but more... Wow, because the food was wonderful. Very fresh produce, delicious, and innovative. Really the best in this city. Wow, because the wine list is over the top. The choices are very good but the prices suit an expense account, not couples dining even for a special occasion.

We recently chose Aria to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Uni. Excellent choice for a special occasion & the staff made a suitable fuss. Good menu with a number of enticing choices & the views to the river is always my favourite.

Everything about this place was absolutely gorgeous. Went with my parter to enjoy some fine dining as we so rarely treat ourselves and couldn't have been more pleased. I ordered a cocktail (it had the most amazing sphere ice in it) and tried it but it was a little too tart for me, not their fault, should have been more... More

We came for a mid week lunch and were one of only 5 tables in the restaurant. We chose to do 3 course a la carte rather than the 4 or 7 course degustation. Dishes were simple but tasty. Mains were not a massive serve so I'd suggest a side. My fillet steak was cooked perfectly but there was only... More
