Description: ARIA Brisbane, located on the Eagle Street Pier, provides the quintessential Brisbane dining experience, with striking views from the restaurant of the Brisbane River. Owned by chef Matt Moran and restaurateur, Peter Sullivan, ARIA boasts a well-balanced seasonal menu, featuring local and Australian produce and an award winning wine list, served in an elegant dining room with stunning views. "If it's fine dining you seek, in a split-level expanse of understated elegance that affords sweeping city views, this sibling to Matt Moran's southern star ticks the boxes. Add a stellar cellar selection, with a thoughtful nod to Queensland wineries, plus accomplished service and you've hit the right notes, particularly for corporates and lovers of occasion. There's obvious skill, attention to detail and quality produce on show from opening chords to final flourish. Succulent pork belly has perfect golden crackling, while plump duck dumplings, abalone and mushrooms swim in a Peking duck consomme. Kingfish baked in cedar bark has its wrapping set alight en route to the table, adding a welcome smokiness. Creamy custard tart alongside figs, apple slices and candied walnuts has real retro charm. A sweet farewell gift box of miniature macarons rounds out a night to remember." Gourmet Traveller Australia

This is one of the best restaurants for wonderful food and great atmosphere, with a fantastic view over the river. We had a great night out and the staff were very attentive.

So we don't often go to restaurants of this calibre, but I have to say I was totally blown away. Every mouthful was amazing, and being a vegetarian, it is so fantastic to have options that are really delicious and not just a back-up plan. Obviously it is very expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. I appreciated that... More

Aria sells itself as up market fine dining restaurant. The ambience and service were very good, as was the wine and quality of the food but the creativity and flavours of our meals were very disappointing. We also overheard several adjoining tables make similar comments. For mains over $55 we expected better.

My partner and I again visited Aria and was again an outstanding display of everything a restaurant has to offer. Thanks to our waiter from NZ who again looked after us above and beyond the call of duty, especially after I decided to forget my pin number of my credit card for the first time in five years after being... OMG the best presented and most delicious food I have had in Australia. Much better than the Aria in Sydney as this one is buzzy, trendy. with a great menu. It was a real gastronomique experience and would love to re-visit.

Really enjoyed eating here. It was the best service for sure, during a 3wk stay in Australia. Sometimes Australia can be too laid back!! Really enjoyed the food, the table overlooking the river and the atmosphere was spot on. I do get fed up with restaurants that ask time and again 'Are you enjoying your meal?' At Aria I enjoyed... I've dined at Aria three times and the food has been delicious and beautifully presented My fave - the duck consume But when you ask the wait staff about speaking to the sommelier - and they respond with "the who" - it does ring some alarm bells on the level of experience of the staff. Also - when you have... More

Came here for anniversary lunch having heard so many good things and of course my love for matt moran :-) went for the French Revolution themed two course lunch. The service was absolutely exceptional from the moment we were greeted personally at the front door. Waiters and waitresses were attentive and at no point did the experience feel rushed. Nor...
