Rather Heston Blumenthal inspired cuisine with items such as bacon powder. We enjoyed it as a one time experience. Great food in an up-scale setting. Staff knowledgeable yet not pretentious. A supper night out. Value for money fine dining - the wine list is extensive and has Australian wines that are quality leaders.

We decided to try here using our Entertainment book vouchers.. We ate on a Saturday evening and could only get a 6pm booking, which was fine for us. We were the first in the restaurant but by the time we left at just before 8pm the restaurant was full. The wait staff were attentive but overly gushy... they were friendly... More

We went to this restaurant and was initially told they may not be able to fit us in because it was a busy night. They ended up finding a table for us which was hardly surprising given there were only 4 other people present. For a fine dining restaurant I found the menu boring and uninspiring. I had the lamb... Enjoyed a great night with my partner for her birthday. This is a restaurant in the five star Sofitel in Brisbane and quite secluded from the bustle of the main restaurant at the Sofitel. Its decadent, well furnished and intimate for dinners to celebrate an important occasion. Degustation is available. On this occasion, we went al la Carte and chose... More

this is a 5 star restaurant with one star service. It's a French restaurant with an extensive Spanish Australian and Italian wine list. None of which seem to be available. The wines we requested they were out of stock. The list of desert wines was reasonable but wow they were out of every wine on the list. The Head Waiter... More

Although quite expensive, we found the menu easy to decipher and all of the food was amazingl Great wine choice also - made for a very merry night.

Here I ate the 6 course degustation set. Each dish was great, there was about 15 minutes between each dish, which isn't too bad in itself, but over 6-8 courses it becomes a long dinner. I've rated the value against other similar establishments, so I'm not being biased. The atmosphere is good, very private in an open floor. The view... More

I booked Prive249 for my birthday this year after reading such great reviews online. The food was just incredible and the atmosphere was perfect for my special night! The infused champagne cocktails were a huge highlight for us and I highly recommend the Wagyu as a main! The only let down was the amount of time it took between each... More

Opted for the degustation with matching wines: good choice all round! The quality of each course was very high ( the wagyu beef was amazing), service was good and the portion sizes were of a good size. The matching wines proved a good complement to the courses. Lovely ambience. All in all, a most wonderful evening. If looking for a... More
