Good French food

We had a reward voucher for this restaurant, & chose the more expensive set price menu for $75 a head. It is a very sensible menu offering a degustation selection for 2 in both entree & dessert sections. All offerings were well done. We chose the bouillbaisse which was very tasty but a little light... read more

I have eaten at C'est Bon on several occassions over the past 5 years, but I am sorry to have to write this review that food and service have gone downhill. Our group of 12 diners were seated in very squash conditions upstairs. Several diners had escargots which were very oily. The scallops were delicate and tasty, but overpriced. For... More

Took a friend here for her birthday. It had very good reviews but having recently spent time in Europe I was hesitant but after tasting the food all I can say is Wow - best French food in Brisbane in my opinion. Range is limited, which is a good thing in my opinion as what they do do is spot... More

Husband and I enjoyed a weeknight outing to this beautiful little place which we've driven past a hundred times and always meant to try. It's a small restaurant which provides a lovely intimate setting and we received a warm welcome and personal service from the wait staff. We enjoyed a three course meal of perfectly cooked, flavoursome food which was... More

From the moment we walked into this restaurant....it was like being transported to France, lovely ambiance and a fine dining experience. The complimentary amuse bouche was a nice touch to start, then we shared a delicious scallop and cauliflower entrée...so elegant, followed by snails (just the right amount of garlic, just as well we both had them) with French baguette... Last night I tried C'est Bon restaurant on Stanley St, Woolloongabba and wow! this place is amazing!!! On arrival we noticed every single table in the restaurant was filled (always a good sign) and was a little concerned how this would impact the service and wait time between meals. The service instead was excellent and timely. We had the lovely... More

If you're looking for a cheap night out or serviceable meal ... keep walking around the corner for OK Vietnamese, strange and unfriendly Korean or possibly the worst Thai in Brisbane. If you're looking for great food, a memorable night, impeccable service and an hour or two transported to provincial France ... look no further than C'est Bon in Woolloongabba.... More

Food was delicious (have the Duck) and I love the idea of optional share plates for entree and dessert. Lovely building and staff were very friendly (though a little slow in service) when we dined. No dealbreaker though and am happy to recommend and will revisit. Lovely spot for special occasions.

Delicious meals, excellent service, extensive quality wine list at reasonable prices. A little bit of France here in Brisbane.

We have been to this restaurant on two previous occasions - once for dinner and once for lunch. This time we celebrated our anniversary over dinner. We chose the set menu (main and dessert). The duck mains were delicious, the lamb main was good and the bouillabaise was good but a little on the watery side. The desserts are exceptional... More
