This elegant restaurant has been around for years and it has been consistently good. The service is excellent and the waiter and waitress are actually French, which is a nice touch in a French restaurant. On arrival you are served a complimentary appetiser followed by crusty bread with butter curls, no less. The food is excellent. Our teenage boys each... More

After watching a French cooking show, we craved you know what. We had been to this restaurant previously for a function with a set menu and decided to sample the a la carte menu. This setting is superb. Like good Melbourne restaurants, you wouldn't know from the busy street outside that the reasonably innocuous entry leads to a really good... More

The entrees are excellent as well as the mains. The chef cook them really well. The service is very friendly. The only thing I didn't like were the desserts. They are really low in comparison with the rest of the food. Service is excellent, run by the chef's wife. Wines are expensive. Better go for dinner, because parking for lunch... More

I was lucky enough to visit this lovely restaurant with friends that frequent it. I ordered the duck which was cooked superbly as was the wine and the dessert selection. What a delightful restaurant with exceptional and delicios French cuisine. Service was fantastic and the managers were there to offer some of their own favourite choices for us to enjoy.... More

"C'est Bon" was the first French restaurant which I found, when I with my family came to live in ... Melbourne more than 10 years ago. Since than all our family celebrations we celebrated there. But one day the owners decided to move to Brisbane. So when I came to Brisbane I had to found it. The owner changed, but... More

We lunched at C'est bon on Christmas day. Very glad to get in as hardly any restaurants open. The price was very reasonable, we used to go to the Stamford Plaza but their prices have risen 400% in a few years. It was very sad to hear that the restaurant owners had arrived that morning to discover that they had... More

We visited to take part in the fixed menu Christmas lunch today. Not surprisingly it was a full house. We were a little surprised that some of the basics were lacking. There were no side plates or bread knives despite bread (freshly baked but not quite cooked) being served. One place setting was incomplete, cutlery was being changed out during... More

My wife and I met some friends there last Friday. The first visit for all of us. I have been looking for a good, reasonably priced french restaurant for a long time, ever since our favourite " Les Fleurs " near Dreamworld closed around 10 years ago. C'est bon was wonderful. The atmosphere, casual and very French. The menu was classically French without having to... More

We booked this after our first choice was busy... What luck! The booking was originally for 9 people but an extra turned up, now this can be an issue when you have a booth that was close to a window, but the restaurant handled this brilliantly. We managed to get another small table added to the booth and it was... More
