What a discovery, we returned a second time, it was so difficult to choose but the service and food and cafe decore were all excellent, we could not tell any difference from eating in the Marais

Make it a point to go here every time I am in Brisbane. Great Almond Croissants, lovely filled rolls, nice coffee and somewhere to sit outside to watch the city go by!

They've done a great job of creating a very French cafe in Brisbane. Indoor and outdoor seating, it's clean and bright. Good range of French fare: bread/ pastries/ macaroons etc. by far the best croissant in town. Coffee is good and service friendly. For a take home treat you cannot go past the cinnamon sugared almonds!!! Oh la la!! Le... More

A good friend introduced me to Le Bon choix and now i can't go home to my wife unless I bring a few treats home. Coffee is excellent, tarts, macaroons, rolls, croissant etc are superbly French. Delicious.

This review is for the store at Paddington.  We had the pleasure of being able to visit this gorgeous little french patisserie on the weekend and wow!  So much care and love goes into the presentation of this bakery so that it is still very accessible to the 'regular' crowd.  Must tries are the almond crossaint, vanilla and chocolate donuts...... Terrific little patisserie, we wished we had discovered a little sooner on our 3 day trip to Brisbane. Enjoyed a great cappuccino and a superb escargot pastry here after a long walk along the river. The pastry crisp , not too sweet, the custard light and just enough, the raisins sweet and gave good balance- perfect with a coffee. Bought... More

On the occasions when we stay overnight in Brisbane we always go to Le Bon Choix for breakfast. The Croque Monsieur, baguettes, pastries and cakes are all excellent as is the coffee (surprising for a French restaurant). The staff are always friendly and helpful. We always takeaway a scrumptious cake and bread and a satisfied feeling. A "must" place to... More
