great service, good food

This team understands good waiting. Being available but not hovering; checking you are happy but not harassing. I didn't bother with the menu, the specials sounded too good. I had arancini balls for entrees and a pork belly risotto for main. Both lived up to the hype. Price was very reasonable... read more

This is a great basement level venue with exposed walls and funky art. It has some great tables for two tucked to the back under archways that are my favourite place to sit. It feels intimate and offers you a little privacy and is a little quieter. There are plenty of fabulous risottos, pastas and not forgetting desserts to choose... More

Had an amazing risotto - chicken and camembert - and tried some of their ciders. The ciders were rather expensive, yet they had a great range. Spirits are cheaper, which is a plus in my eyes! Not so much a romantic venue, but an excellent place to go to if you're just looking for something tasty to eat. Would definitely... More

We had heard the food was good and it certainly did not disappoint. The three meals ordered were all fantastic!

We booked here for dinner for four. Down some very steep steps into a basement. Lots of ciders on offer so some of us ordered that. Was really busy and noisy when we first arrived. By the time we ordered and got our mains everyone else had vanished! We had standard dishes, nothing spectacular, but tasty and when I asked... More

Always serving the yummiest pasta in Brisbane accompanied with an extensive cider range! Staff are very friendly and prices are pretty good (even better if you remember your entertainment book!). Be aware that this place gets really loud! Like so loud you can barely hear the person across from you so not the best place for a romantic first date!

I have visited Verve on a couple of occasions with friends and it hasn't disappointed once! While it can be busy for dinner most nights, I have successfully managed to walk in and get a table, though it was early in the night and I had been told previously that bookings are the best way of gaining a table. The... More

Great spot for a casual dinner if you are visiting Brisbane city. Casual dining, great atmosphere and really busy. Not a good place for a romantic night, but great to relax, laugh and enjoy. Happy with the food and staff were great.

Had the fire pizza. I think they forgot the chilli. Nonetheless, all the chilli in the world could have made that sloppy pizza tasty. Also, if you want a second drink, prepare to wait. Very slow service. Staff were friendly and everyone else seemed to enjoy it. Ill give it another go.
