I have visited Verve on a couple of occasions with friends and it hasn't disappointed once! While it can be busy for dinner most nights, I have successfully managed to walk in and get a table, though it was early in the night and I had been told previously that bookings are the best way of gaining a table. The... More

Great spot for a casual dinner if you are visiting Brisbane city. Casual dining, great atmosphere and really busy. Not a good place for a romantic night, but great to relax, laugh and enjoy. Happy with the food and staff were great.

Had the fire pizza. I think they forgot the chilli. Nonetheless, all the chilli in the world could have made that sloppy pizza tasty. Also, if you want a second drink, prepare to wait. Very slow service. Staff were friendly and everyone else seemed to enjoy it. Ill give it another go.

I've been here 3 times now and every time I visit, I've never had a bad meal! Last night I had the chicken and mushroom risotto, the time before chicken fettucine, chorizo gnocchi before that and they were all so marvellous! Great taste, so worth forking the money out! It isn't good if you're on a budget, but all meals... More

For over a year I have been having lunch every 2 or 3 months at Verve. Every time the service is fast and friendly, the food is great and there are vegetarian and gluten free options. I love that the food and service has always been great. I haven't done a review earlier because I was just taking them for... More

Had the pleasure of trying Verve the other night and were not disappointed. The venue has a great feel to it, but there's a chance you won't go as it doesn't look much from the outside. Set down in the basement it is a great place to have a pizza with friends. Unfortunately we hadn't booked ahead so we're down... More

We’ve now been to Verve several times and have never been disappointed. The food is uniformly excellent and always different. The theme of pub-food-with-a-difference is great, and I particularly enjoyed the pork and fennel sausages, parmesan mash with home made onion rings and a rosemary and ale jus. Definitely not your standard sausages and mash! The sausages were home made,... More

A great little modern Italian restaurant in an old basement, not for the claustrophobic. Lives up to the hype of past reviewers with beautiful food and great service, 3 courses in and out in an hour! I certainly see why this place is so busy and that people line up to get get a table. Extensive list of ciders and... More

We stumbled across this restaurant after finding the Belgium Bier Café had shut down. We had to wait a while for a table as it was busy for a Wednesday night. Food was great and staff friendly enough. Manager who does the bar not so friendly but we still thought it was pretty good. Will definitely be back to try... More
