Although the much awaited Tuscan terrace at Sirromet has a good view it is not what I expected. Rather disappointing. Having dined at cellar door and Lurleens, both of which have been very pleasant experiences, I was hoping the terrace would be a dinning experience in between the two. It's NOT, its like the cellar door only with higher prices... More

Utterly disappointing experience. Menu clearly stated "lamb shanks" What I ended up with was a single small shank on a huge bed of gooey mushy Polenta...Menu was deceptive and when I questioned the chef the only response was was a blank stare..Half an hour later I got told they were going to make me another shank....No Thanks! Won't be going... More

We eat occasionally at either The Cellar Door or the Tuscan Terrace. The prices are equivalent to good restaurants offering higher quality food and table service (which neither of these restaurants do - the food is nice but not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination and steer clear of the pork belly, which is definitely not slow cooked and... I walked into Siromet to join a table of ten guests on a Sunday. After giving the reservation name, we were not escorted to our table, but carelessly directed there by two maître de's. A little bit of an awkward start. 20 minutes passed before anyone came up to the table to ask for any beverages and only did when... More

First time experience to a day on the green last Sunday to see Hunters & Collectors. Tickets brought included the Garden Party. After a very slow drive to get to the winery, (just one lane) it was a long hike from our specified car parking which was included in this deal. Up the hill gave us a truly magnificent view... More

A very pleasant spot for lunch or an afternoon of wine tasting with great views. Cellar door menu is reasonably priced and good food. Also they have great sorbets.

I attended a private function (lunch) at Sirromet Wineries last weekend and it was a truly yummy experience. The service was top class and the views from the restaurant were superb. Beautiful gardens and bushland. We had starters, entree, main and desert and by the end of the feast I couldn't even fit a cup of coffee in my very... More

Really fun day with wine tasting and a meal to follow. We all had something different to eat and we were all delighted with our choices, the freshness, the portion sizes and the flavour of all the dishes was excellent. Sitting in the sunshine sipping the sparkling rose - what a great way to pass the time. Make sure you... More

Sirromet is definitely one of the most delightful restaurants I have ever eaten in. It is situated on a beautiful estate with the vine yards in full view. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have just opened their Tuscany Restaurant on the same grounds specializing with the finest Italian themed menu. The patio has a fabulous view overlooking rolling... More
