Sari rasa is a Long-term Darwin mainstay for a good reason. The food is excellent, the family style service is friendly, the restaurant is almost always full with a stream of locals sitting down or buying takeaway. The dry beef, the beans, the fish curry and the chilli eggplant are favourites of many of my colleagues. I recommend Sari Rasa... More

Love this Satay Chicken and so does my family. We always order too much but that's not a bad problem to have. Friendly service too which makes it more welcoming!

Absolutely the best feed you'll get in Darwin. Delicious authentic Indonesian food for a very small price. Take your own wine and enjoy!

I takeaway lunch once a month or so from Sari Rasa and they do seem to have a lot of regulars, the fish and lamb curries are my pick with the sambal egg. Some of the beef dishes are a tad bland for my taste though. The only negative is the rice to meat ratio is a bit mean and... More

I ate here several times over a couple of weeks. For $12.50 I was getting rice and 3 dishes. I had the chilli chicken, beans and eggplant. YUMMO. Great value

Plenty of people had recommended Sari Rasa to us ahead of our visit, we now know for good reason. Sari Rasa is somewhat hidden away down a nondescript arcade, a couple of streets from Darwin's main CBD mall. Despite being hidden, Sari Rasa isn't unknown - there's a steady flow of people coming to eat-in or takeaway. The place was... More

Food was below average service was poor and the only hi lite was the location. We waited a long time for our meals when it was very quite. .Disappointing

If you like traditional cooking you cannot go wrong with this place as the dishes are delicious. The venue itself is very basic as you might find in a little cafe in Asia. Go at lunch time and choose from the bain marie selection of authentic and halal dishes - yummy!

The food here is excellent and the value exceptional. Worth a trip for lunch. Great chilli sambal and the eggplant was some of the best I've had in Australia.

Sari Rasa offers fresh and home cooked food, including vegetarian. Very good value for money (accept payments by card too). Seating is basic and clean.
