Excellent traditional dishes, prepared with love and care and sold at very reasonable prices. Hard to go past for a cheap lunch in the central business district.

Tiny little sit down restaurant (also does take away), very plain inexpensive fitting (not counting the chandeliers, a nice touch). The food is chosen from a bay marie, not from a menu, but a great choice of vegetarian and meat curries, many of which I'd never heard of, as unfamiliar with Indonesian food. Inexpensive and wonderful. Also we noticed some... More

After reading other Tripadvisor reviews my husband & I came for dinner. What a disappointment. The cafe is difficult to find. When we finally found it down an arcade off Cavevagh St, it was just an old cafe, few customers and the food served from a Bain-marie was terrible. Won't be going there again.

A humble looking cafe at the end of an arcade along Cavanagh St serving authentic tasty Indonesian food served on hot rice. I am so glad to have discovered this place where the curries are authentic and have not been changed to suit the western palate. It cost $11 for a small plate (still quite generous servings) and $12 for... More

up in Darwin on work, I chose this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews - and was not disappointed. this is a little cafe/takeaway place down an arcade in the city centre. it is very basic - a small cafe with laminex tables. we are not talking a revolving restaurant with harbour views - think the opposite! All the dishes... More

Trip Advisor's other reviewers all seem to be saying the same thing - this little cafe/restaurant is outstanding. If you are looking for authentic Indonesian food that hits the taste buds with a full flavour assault - then this is the place to go. It seems to me that the food is prepared by a bunch of little old Indonesian... More

Great food, brilliant value. As soon as you have a mouthful of Sari Rasa rending, you're transported to Indonesia. Wonderful eggplant sambal, great dried beef, stupendous chilli beans! If only the walls weren't painted green!
