This is a very popular place. You choose all your own ingredients and a sauce. Hand it over to be cooked, by a not so friendly cook. Then find out that your Stirfry has cost you $25. I find it is too expensive for what you get.

This place can be a little hard to find tucked at the back of a arcade. But it is well worth it. It is a very original and unusual way to pick your dish. You go with your bowl and from a wide selection of meats, veggies, sauce and noodles you oick what you like and they weigh and you... More

My partner thought the camel was delicious. She tried the exotic meats like camel, kangaroo, emu and buffalo and liked them. I just went with my faves of shrimp and scallopsbroccoli and cauliflower. I have been here twice before and wanted my partner to get to try this place. Our friend also visited for the first time and he loved... More

Excellent food and service is tops. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Serve yourself food and watch the chefs cook it for you. Great selection of all the "normal" meats to choose from as well as camel, crocodile, kangaroo and buffalo.

This is without a doubt my favourite restaurant in Darwin. The premise is simple, get a tray on one side fill it with as many vegetables as you want and on the other side as many and as much meat as you want and then choice or sauce or two and watch the cooks wok fry it up right in... More

I would agree that the idea is novel. But at $22.50 per 300 gm serve, that's one pricy noodle dish. 350 gm is not nearly enough for a meal and you'd probably end up spending more. To add value to this experience there needs to be some sort of service. To plate your own food, wait about 10 mins in... More

We were a group of 7 who 'returned' to this establishment after many years. We were very warmly greeted and made to feel very comfortable. Drinks arrived and, from my point of view, the beers were very cold! When ready, patrons are advised on what to do to have their meal of choice. Mine was light on the veggies and... More

The Magic wok is an interesting idea, you select from an extensive range of vegetables, meats and sauces which are then cooked by the chief. However in the absence of any suggestions for combination of the exotic meats (horse, camel, emu, duck, kangaroo and turkey) both my husbands meal and mine ended up being fairly ordinary. It was also expensive... More
