Best Pad Thainin Darwin

We went here on Saturday night. Belly dancing is underwhelming but the food was excellent. We enjoyed the lamb korma, Tandoori King Prawns, chicken satay, lamb cutlet appetizer. We also ordered pad thai which was excellent, aloo gobi which was good and some great roti. Reservations are best on... read more

Tuesday night in Darwin....I decided Nirvana was my restaurant of choice, we haven't been out in Darwin for years and dinner was just as good as I remembered. There was only the 2 of us, unfortunately this means that you don't get to taste as many dishes.. Staff were friendly and attentive, meal was delicious...only sadness was that we had... More

I have stopped going here because of the staff. I love this place for the atmosphere, the food and the excellent drinks menu....the cocktail menu really is impressive. The food has been beautiful every time I've been and the diversity of the menu means you can have something different every time. The set up is great - you can enjoy... More

This is a lovely place to eat. Went with a 8 others and the meal was fantastic and tasty and plenty of it. You can walk to it from town as it is on the edge of town. My friends (local) say this is one of their local favourites. Bar has a good selection of beer and wine. It is... More

Went to the restaurant as a large group on a Friday night and it was very busy. The food was nice a little bit spicy some of the food but the chicken skewers were lovely and the pad Thai was really good not to spicy either. I'm not a chilli eater but you can still find food for you.

We went to Nirvana for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night. The entertainment was great, with a reggae band playing and belly dancing too. The tandoori chicken was really tasty but the aloo gobi was a little too creamy, which overpowered any of the spices. All in all it was a good evening out away from Mitchell Street and... More

Had our pre wedding get together with the family here in July, i was emailed the banquet menu and wanted to swap some dishes around, which was fine. In total we had 20 people dining on a Monday night so wasnt busy. We paid $40 per head and the food was not only fantastic but there was alot of it.... More

So disappointed. My husband and I used to frequent this restaurant 2 years ago frequently as we loved the rustic ambience and the food, at that time, was reasonable. Never the best indian, just ok, so we tended to stay away from that portion of the menu and instead found the Malaysian component of the menu quite tasty. Regrettably, over... More

Read the mixed reviews and ignored them. Don't be put off by the front facade. Had a nice table at the back of the building. Had a great dining experience with a small group. Had a variety of dishes - try the massaman beef. Prices are reasonable and drink menu while not huge is more than adequate. Flavours for the... More

Service is good, and food excellent and yum. Atmosphere is nice but can get a bit too cosy in there when a few people get in there. Did find that the drink prices are a little high but I think that is the way it is going everywhere now. Second time there now and will come back again for the... More
