Decided to give this a try tonight as we hadn't been before. What a disappointment. Service was ok but the food was absolutely abysmal. Not fresh, tasted like it was out of a packet. I had the chicken vindaloo and companion had tandoori prawns. It was not tandoori, that;s for sure. The prawns arrived bathed in a pink, tasteless gloop... More

Last night we went with a few friends to nirvanas. It was not our first time there and it is always great but last night it was just alright because of the waiter. The food was fantastic. We asked the waiter for enough rice and bread for all off us but he couldnt really help us. He hardly came back... More

I had a pleasant meal here, but nothing special - a stir fry and a duck curry, plus shared some spiced quail for entree. The place is darkish and kinda dated. Service - nothing especially good or bad. The vibe OK, but not anything that stands out. No live music playing while we were there - maybe that's why I... More

Tuesday night in Darwin....I decided Nirvana was my restaurant of choice, we haven't been out in Darwin for years and dinner was just as good as I remembered. There was only the 2 of us, unfortunately this means that you don't get to taste as many dishes.. Staff were friendly and attentive, meal was delicious...only sadness was that we had... More

We went here on Saturday night. Belly dancing is underwhelming but the food was excellent. We enjoyed the lamb korma, Tandoori King Prawns, chicken satay, lamb cutlet appetizer. We also ordered pad thai which was excellent, aloo gobi which was good and some great roti. Reservations are best on Saturday as even with them we were in the very back.... More

I have stopped going here because of the staff. I love this place for the atmosphere, the food and the excellent drinks menu....the cocktail menu really is impressive. The food has been beautiful every time I've been and the diversity of the menu means you can have something different every time. The set up is great - you can enjoy... More

This is a lovely place to eat. Went with a 8 others and the meal was fantastic and tasty and plenty of it. You can walk to it from town as it is on the edge of town. My friends (local) say this is one of their local favourites. Bar has a good selection of beer and wine. It is... More

Went to the restaurant as a large group on a Friday night and it was very busy. The food was nice a little bit spicy some of the food but the chicken skewers were lovely and the pad Thai was really good not to spicy either. I'm not a chilli eater but you can still find food for you.
