Good location next to darwin entertainment centre. Good ambience. Good service. Excellent Indian food. Little bit expensive. But I think it is worth. Service reasonably quick given it was pretty busy. Noticed earlier reviewer mentioned beautiful naan. That I agree with too.

Excellent food and service. It was such a pleasant surprise to happen upon such an excellent restaurant in a city such as Darwin. Really good food, impeccable service and not overly expensive. Memorable experience. Would not hesitate in recommending this establishment. Apparently have started sister place in Adelaide.

We arrived in Darwin early for a cruise we were taking with National Geographic. Our Hotel, the Hilton (also excellent) conceriege recommended this restaurant. A short walk from the hotel brough us to this delightful fusion restaurant in the middle of "Nowhere." Although the food was described to us as Asian Fusion, I would put it more closely in the... I have been to Hanumans numerous times and Like most of their food but am very impressed with the Thai fry fish with sauce and the kulfi and carrot halva dessert. I called the carrot halva as Kasree. My mum who is in Singapore makes the best kaseree and thats her specialty. Everyone from all over the world loves her... More

I have dined at Hanumans 3 times this year, twice as a large group and once as a couple. Each time the food was beautiful HOWEVER....service was slow and food slow also. I don't blame the waiters as they were always friendly...there just wasn't enough of them. We found ourselves with empty drinks trying to grab someones attention. Such a... More

After reading previous reviews, and upon the recommendation of a friend, I was looking forward to dinner here. The restaurant is modern and trendy, and the menu reads very well (although I thought on the expensive side). Being so popular, it was quite noisy and often hard to hear the conversation at our own table. 7 of us enjoyed 3-courses.... More

From Hobart we booked ahead for an early dinner at 6:00 but when we arrived the place still seemed shut. I wondered what the fuss was about. Our party of four were seated, alone in a large covered balcony room. When we finished at 8:00 there were more than 200 diners with tables being turned over regularly. Wow. The food... More

In Darwin for two nights for business. Ate at hanuman last night, had oysters and duck curry which were both very nice. Was after Riesling by the glass and was told they had supply problems but they would open a Clare valley bottle by the glass. Laziness and a good experience last night bought me back for a second night.... More

Our group of 20 dined here tonight and had ordered a custom banquet menu with a variety of entrees, mains and a dessert. When the bill came ($1500) we noticed a charge of $50 on there for naan bread which had been part of the package. We advised the staff that this had been included in our package but were... More
