Is a regular haunt and really enjoy the atmosphere. Always friendly and quick service. Have tried a range of menu options and yet to find one that disappoints.

Great latte - the chocolate coated coffee bean is a great touch, can also appreciate the cold towels on arrival when eating in. The ham+cheese+tomato toasties are beyond good, but $13 is a bit rough - especially when it's same price to take away.

Usually such a great cafe with such great service and atmosphere! But our last visit was a bit of a let down with bad service actually, no service. We waited for ages for our food and even a bottle of water took them 20minutes to bring!

Brought my boyfriend here for afternoon tea. Ordered a slice of cake to share but was given two. Absolutely moist and flavoursome coconut cake, Great coffee, relaxing ambience perfect for a Sunday afternoon and very friendly service. definitely a place to check out in Darwin.

Moya is a fun host, who REALLY knows how to cook scrambled eggs - they were fantastic, as was the coffee, atmosphere and service.

I love everything about this place, the atmosphere, the coffee, the food and the smells. I love the special touches such as the tealight candles, the refreshing face towels with an orchid flower and glass of water. Sometimes there is live music which is great to listen too. Every trip to Darwin, I have to get there for a coffee.... More

Dropped by for quick coffee and single slice of coconut toast to go. Clerk says, $12.95 please. I said, seems like too much. She says, how many slice you want? Just one please. She then repeats, $12.95. I ask, how much for coffee, she says, $4 something, I asked, how much for the toast, she says, $4 something. I said,... More

I went to Java Spice this morning with my Husband for morning tea, the coffee and carrot cake was good, my husband had a toasted sandwich which he enjoyed. I do feel that $13+ for a toasted sandwich is a little too much, but overall good experience:)
