Great food, nice atmosphere outside. Seems to be gaining in popularity and many friends I have spoken to are recommending Ruby also. A bit on the expensive side for vietnamese/asian food though. Would be great if they had a takeaway menu with a decent discount on the eat in prices...

After having waited too long to book a restaurant for Valentines Day dinner, and all the ones we wanted being booked out, we decided to eat at Ruby. And we're SO glad we did! Having heard such great reviews about it, I had always wanted to try it out and not being one to eat out much, finding a time... More

This is the 3rd time I've been here & would have to be one of my favourite restaurants. Helpful, friendly service, lovely surrounds, although we did have to gesture them to come & refill drinks & take dessert orders. The food is absolutely beautiful. Love the fresh flavours & presentation of all the dishes we had. Would definitely recommend.

The first place I've been where the meal was so good it almost took away from the displapointing slow service... Good luck trying to get a drink and keep your glass full , but I must say my Thai green chicken curry was one of the best iv had... Other food wasn't to bad either but that was a stand... More

Ruby was recommended by Darwin locals as a restaurant noted for its fusion developments around Vietnamese food. I was after a food experience where the food, herbs and spices of tropical Australia might influence flavours. I was disappointed. The 5 spice duck was OK - pleasantly if mildly flavoured, generous in its portions, but not a patch on a similar... More
