Can't get enough

I luckily discovered this cafe whilst accompanying a friend to a nearby business just recently. This was my great fortune as I cannot get enough of this place. I luckily discovered this cafe whilst accompanying a friend to a nearby business just recently. This was my great fortune as I cannot get enough of this place. Goats cheese palak is fantastic and the chickpea choc cake to die for. Pasties are so yummy. I am suddenly finding reasons to be conveniently in the area to drop in. Am... More

We arrived upon closing time and Martin couldn't have been nicer, welcoming us to a table without hurrying us along. The salads are pretty big so we shared one of these and also a potato pie. The latter was very cleverly done, almost upside down and very tasty. Would definitely make this a regular haunt on Saturday mornings.

I came here a few months back and really enjoyed it.. I had the chickpea curry and it was quite delicious for a vegetarian meal.. I am not veggie but I did find the food very satisfactory non the less. We sat outside in the sunshine and had a very present lunch. I would definitely recommend if you are vegetarian... More

This is one of my favourite lunchtime options around Darwin.. I wish they were open for dinner.. but make a good dinner take out option if you come in the afternoon.. there are so so so many yummy things on the menu. The beetroot pastie thingies and the potato pasties (a bit like a samosa) and salad are scrumptious. So... More

I have visited Eat at Martins on a number of different occasions. Some for business lunches and also dining with friends. The freshness of the food is what I love best. The serving sizes are generous and juices and coffee are really fantastic. I often purchase their pre-made curries to have for dinner. Will definitely keep coming back and encourage... More

First time visit, was not apparent if it was table service or not, two members of staff seemed too busy to advise whether or not we should take a table. Finally told to grab a couple of menus and find a table. We opted to sit outside, very pleasant. Still wasn't sure if it was table service, but since no... More

I am sorry to disappoint you. If you had paid attention you would have noticed loads of people ordering b4 you at the order window. We had a very full cafe with about 20 orders waiting. And sometimes I just can not clean the juicer for one out of the ordinary order. I apologised to you b4 taking the order... More

Eat @ Martins is a wonderful little gem of a cafe, serving delicious home-made vegetarian delights. On all of my many visits there the atmosphere has been relaxed and friendly. It attracts a large group of regular clientele, and the staff are great. Enjoy!

We are moving down south in a few weeks, and this is the restaurant I will miss the most out of everywhere in Darwin. Excellent service, great variety for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. I love the vegan salad, and sometimes I will come on a Saturday to stock up for the week ahead. The chickpea and chocolate cake is... More

Assault on the senses. You must go to this place if you think you need a dose of energy packed super food. Tucked away inconspicuously in Coconut Grove, this has got to be one of Darwin's best kept secrets. The prices are very fair, I'd call it great value actually, compared to the usual overpriced crappola slopped onto our plates... More
