Went to this restaurant with my wife not knowing what to expect. Ordered chicken korma and daal with garlic naans. Daal was below average as it appeared to have been cooked by non indians. Otherwise all food was tasty and served in good time after ordering. Found it to be a bit pricy compared to Sydney standards. Chicken korma was... More

Its a bit hard to compete with Hanuman in this town, but Garam Masala is really a nice choice for Indian. Yummy food, quiet ambiance, you can watch the craziness across the street through the window, and enjoy your meal wondering how the hell all these young people got to this place, and why they are so exuberant all the... We had buttered chicken and curry lamb. They were both very good. Service is good and the prices are fair. I would recommend it if you feel like Indian food!!! Be aware of the spiciness of some dishes!!

The menu are true Indian curry menu but cooked by non-Indian chefs. Curries do not taste like curries at all. A curried prawn entrée was served on a puppudum with honey???? I have not heard a curry served with honey!! It is a big big waste of time and money to go to this restaurant. We spent $70.00 for two... More

Nothing that really stands out as THE place you need to go to get Indian, but it was still Very Good. I'm not that adventurous so I'm a butter chicken curry kind of guy...it was good. Service was good but there is not a bathroom for about 100 yards so go empty and leave full.

This resto used to be excellent, when it was in the Central hotel and owned by Indian folk. It has changed hands a few years ago, losing its well earned reputation for quality, But we decided to give it a try in case it had improved. Big mistake. why.- A flat coke, samaosas straight out of a bulk buy box,... More

Darwin now has a nice Indian restaurant. The place is very clean and the food is outstanding. Service was poor and food and wine expensive (compared to all the other Indian restaurants I have dined at). But because of the great food, I will return.

Opted for one of the banquets on the menu. This was at a cost of 60 dollars per person. There was 4 people, we got 4 dishes one rice and some popadoms. Paid extra for naan bread!! Portions are quite small and although the food was good we left feeling disappointed as it was a bit of a rip off!... More

As far as Indian cuisine goes this place is fantastic. If I want to go somewhere for a special occasion such as my birthday this is always my choice of venue. The food is outstanding and the staff are great. They do great lunch specials also and get the food out quick which is good for the short time I... More

This cafe/diner was surprisingly expensive. Not recommended. $27 Butter chicken dish was served on a plain white, almost flat plate. No basmati rice, only jasmine. Cauliflower dish tasted incredibly sweet, much like a sweet and sour pork dish in a gloopy plum sauce. Service was poor: wait staff could not pronounce the dish names, very slow to bring the bill....
