great menu, yummy. a bit expensive, great atmosphere with many tourists having a good time. they made a mistake with something and gave us a discount to make up for it. it's in the shopping centre which is small.

Tucked in behind the Desert Gardens hotel reception, this is a quiet place to relax after a busy day touring Uluru and surrounds. Good comfortable seating, and a reasonable menu. Not formal like some of the restaurants, very pleasant. Service was fair on the day, would have liked a bit more attention, but it was mostly OK. Prices were what... More

We popped into this bar for a leisurely lunch and it was quite pleasant. Sat at a table outside and enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine and nice meal - sliders and steak sandwich. Not as formal as restaurants we ate at while staying at Sails in the Desert but was great to sit outside and enjoy the mild... More

We had a fantastic night at the Bunya Bar, definitely the best meal we ate at Yulara. Juicy prawns and a yummy vegetable terrine, followed up with great desserts. Admittedly the bar was quiet however our waitress Erin was brilliant and definitely was a major contributor to our night. We met their new chef Stephen after dinner and complimented him... More

Located in a cluster of eateries within the Desert Gardens Hotel, the Bunya Bar offers clientele the opportunity to enjoy in relaxed surroundings a variety of light meals and beverages. Positioned just off the entrance to the popular White Gums Restaurant [serving mouth-watering hot and cold buffet breakfasts to hotel guests and drop-ins alike] and the prestigious Arnguli Grill [delicious... High prices are not unexpected at this remote resort but $11 for a small bowl of cashews is stretching it, especially when the wait person offered them with the implication that they would be free, as is the case at many establishments in the developed world.

Good choice on offer. My husband and I chose the burgers (mine a Veggie option) and they were delicious. Nice surroundings - flies not so bad the day we ate there.

In Uluru you have three drinking holes strategically placed like an equilateral triangle. This is the mid-level option, and the food and beverage options are good quality and no dearer than the others.

I barely had time to grab my very tasty sandwich before heading out for my afternoon tour. The place gets very busy and everyone tends to leave at the same time, so things are a bit hectic. More staff and better procedures are definitely needed at rush-hours.
