Interesting Choices

We started with the Australian sharing platter which consisted of: a small brochette of crocodile (meat a bit fibrous, dressing swamped the flavour), smoked wombat in a three layer toast (tasty), emu thin sliced on a bed of red cabbage (red cabbage a little dominant?) and mignon of kangaroo (which... read more

We ate here both nights and were very impressed. To keep the cost down, we only had entrees and shared a dessert. Although small, all the food was exquisite, the service was excellent, never batting an eye at our choices and helpfully pointing out it would be a very small meal in some instances.

Whilst my friend chef was viewing the jewellery I perused the menu with a view to making a reservation. The prices are excessive and the menu hum drum. $50 for a steak with pepper sauce or a jus is hardly value nor an example of indigenous food...I think a tourist trap for the well to do. Menu was uninspiring from... More

Great food, and a wonderful selection. Waiters were very helpful and friendly, room was spacious and comfortable. Wine selection was good, but could be broader. We ate here evry night for 3 days, was no need to go anywhere else. Kitchen was very clean and orderly.

Loved the 'Taste of Australia' entrée which includes a taste of crocodile, emu, wallaby and kangaroo with bush flavours and matched wines. We went here a couple of times - in my opinion the best restaurant in the resort. Friendly staff, good food and wines, lovely atmosphere.
