I love a good serving of the Fish and Chips and you wont be disappointed by this place. The oil was fresh - as were the fish. Tasty, not oily, chips were perfect in amount and salted appropriately. No dine in of coarse, but grab a pack and head to Anzac Hill to eat these at Sunset - its not... More

This is our hometown "best" fish and chip shop, and is always our choice on fish and chips night, because the fish (try the hake) is hand battered, rather than of the usual frozen variety, as are the potato cakes and chiko rolls. Worth the bit extra you pay, we think, and are delighted that we have this business in... More

Located within the little shopping complex on Lindsay Ave, left off of Undoolya road. The main local Fish and Chip shop that most locals go to. They have a big range and good quality food. Although not the best value if you are comparing non remote areas, (you must consider where you are), they do have a range of packs... More

This place DEFINITELY has the BEST fish and chips in town. They have friendly, helpful staff and realistic opening hours - making it convenient as well as tasty. The shop is easy to access, with plenty of parking nearby, and they are happy to take phone orders for convenience.

We always stop here if we have a fish and chip night. The seafood pack for 2 is the best value which will give you a bit of everything. Still not the best value compared to places like Melbourne or other main cities, but you have to remember where you are!!!

Good fish and potato cakes! Chips are average, nothing special. But they should add a few things to their menu,.... mushy peas, curry sauce, gravy and chippy brown sauce..... then I really would be happy.

Pretty average and extremely overpriced. $4 for about 25 chips. It's the only fish and chip shop around, so that's prob how they get away with this.

The chips were fairly ordinary but the battered fish was absolutely divine! I loved it, kids loved it, my 5 year old loves fish and declared it the best she has ever had. And you have to try the tartare sauce, it must be homemade it's just incredible

Overpriced, but i guess it is the center of Oz. Thick uncooked batter on every $2 frozen prawn. Thick uncooked batter on nearly every item (we order alot of crustaciens and molluscs)\No offer of compensation upon complaining. They are there to make money, so i guess the pleasant attitude of the staff makes up for it. Just bad seafood for... More

East Side Fish and Chips is a great, family run business. They have been making quality fish and chips for years and hopefully they will do it for many more. Their food is always amazing and staff are always on for a chat when you pick up your order. Definitely one of my favourite places to get a quick and... More
