I loved this place and went there several times while in Alice in December. I liked the changing daily menu. All the food was good. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice, thoughtful people running the business. The most extraordinary range of different types of tea to buy - great presents to take home.

Small portions but fresh and tasty . There is a nice outside area and great variety of teas. The price could be less (according to the size of the portions) but maybe I have to give a try to the other dishes (I had the vegetarian tom yum soup)

Stopped in to grab some takeaway for lunch and found it most pleasing. The feel of the counter and menu setup/display is a little confusing seeming to be halfway between a takeaway/Delli and a restaurant. They really could do with a large menu board above the counter that explains things fully and indicates what is in the steamer and pie... More

Great to have this completely vegetarian place in Alice. A haven for non meat eaters. I had the best ever soft rice paper rolls. So fresh. And a delicious tea. My only complaint was the rather lax and slow service and the sense that the people serving us didn't really want to. Fix that and it's five stars!

The high mountain oolong tea is great and so is the food. Many locals go there. I love their menu but it varies day to day. You can buy tea pots and other tea making stuff too like flasks etc. I go there regularly.

The tea was lovely and unusual (and I bought some to take home). The gentleman that served me was nice and I sat in a lovely outdoor area but no menu was given to me and what was on display didnt look appetising so I didnt get to have anything to eat. The indoor area looked a bit like a... More

The only best vegetarian restaurant in Alice Springs. My favourite is Nasi Lemak and Mock Duck. Tom Yum soup is good too. Try buble tea? Fresh and yummy.

I turned up towards the end of lunchtime one Wednesday, so decided on the Wednesday special of coconut rice with satay. Breakfast had been many hours before, at an airport far, far away, so I was still feeling a bit peckish. A good excuse to try the steamed buns! Lotus, red bean and yam were my choice. Add strawberry milkshake... More

I was so delighted to stumble across this place. Had assumed it would be very difficult to find good vegetarian food in Alice. This place is delightful - a daily changing menu with a good range of lunch options at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Seems to be frequented by staff from the nearby hospital.

The Tea Shrine was simple but had a great selection of teas. The tea I wanted was not available on the shelf so the staff were very happy to package some up for me no problems! The cafe is a little dated but the teas were lovely.
