Was very disappointed that a restaurant called "Barra" uses cheaper imported "Barra" on the menu. This tastes or looks nothing like the wild caught NT Barramundi, come on guys very disappointing! People are willing to pay more for good produce.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today (Tues) for lunch. It was very quiet, however we sat by the pool, it was a really lovely setting, and very inviting. The service was great, the meal was excellent, and very reasonably priced. There was a good selection of wine. I had the salt and pepper calamari with salad and... More

We had dinner here and both meals were extremely good and a great size. (I had the T Bone with stuffed capsicum, salad and chips and it was sensational) The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is very nice. This was by far the best place we ate at in Alice Springs.

I sat around the pool outside which was very pleasant. There are lots of fish dishes on the menu however plenty of other choices on the menu. Nice meal.

We opted for the Herb Battered Barra with chips and salad. It was well presented and tasted delicious. We did wait a little while but it was worth it. Restaurant looked out on the pool and was very refreshing on a hot day. Only problem we had was attracting the attention of the drinks waiter. This was a futile exercise.

Visited for sunday lunch with a group of 25 people - and we did not book! Staff quickly accommodated us and it turned out great. Restaurant overlooks the pool so kids played in there while we dined. Good value food - the club sandwich at $15 was fantastic!

We came here based on reviews and were given a table by the pool. All started well and we got a starter quickly but it then took over an hour to get our mains by which point we were rather fed up. Food was neither great nor bad but it wasn't a cheap night out.

We went here for lunch and so much to choose from. Service was excellent and being a warm day our chilled water topped up constantly. We had traditional hamburger and salt and pepper squid both of which were very generous servings. After lunch we had a swim in the pool because you can if you use the restaurant (great bonus... More

Well being so far from the ocean its always a worry ordering or going to a seafood restaurant but have no fear when trying out this place. It has a fresh and vibrant menu and many options of Barra for you to try as well as some great steak or even a fantastic Caeser Salad we enjoyed the meal service... More
