$12 lunch deal is delicious! An entree of corn chips and guacamole followed by a 200gm steak and a generous serving of chips and salad. Well worth a visit for lunch!

We went to La Cita on wednesday evening at 6.30pm. There were very few other customers but most, if not all (like us) had vouchers for discounted meals. We were greeted on arrival and shown to a table. Water was brought immediately. We confirmed that we wanted the meat platter for 2 and sangria which was included. After a while... More

A couple more prawns with the $12 lunch deal guys and I would have awarded 5* for food, as the service and location, cleanliness of the restaurant and ambience were already excellent. I am wary of lunch "deals" as they rarely are the deal they promise. This one ( plus a couple more prawns please) would have been. What a... More

Went to La Cita and even if the food was what I expected (O had a voucher and got what O was looking for), the service was full of students and very charming young men that were always up for a joke. It made my experience much better

This place was la shita for real! Found them through a $50 voucher for a seafood platter & a bottle of wine. Voucher claimed to be $157 value - I'd be surprised to be charged $40 for this platter off a menu. The bird poo on the table that wasn't cleaned off on our arrival should have been an indicator... Many of the bad reviews on here seem to be about tapas. Tapas are small. They aren't really made to fill up your standard Australian glutton. Some people have complained that menu items are not Spanish. Well, if you ate them you would understand, because the herbs and spices on the calamari and lobster I had were certainly Spanish and... The waiters were very friendly, hospitable and really helped make the atmosphere great. We had a voucher for a 10 course tapas for 2 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was amazing, and the sangria was delicious. Already planning to return.

I had a voucher for 10 Tapas Dishes for 4 People, there was barely enough food for 2 people. We all went home hungry! I brought this for my friend for her birthday so it was very disappointing. They didnt have our reservation when we arrived, plus at 8.30pm they started packing up the tables around us on a Friday... More

Great location with the view to the water cut by overgrown pot plants, the food is NOT good, there is little, if any, touch of "tapas" presented in a reasonable look but so small that is just not enough to feel ok, in fact I went ho0me to have something else. The service is basic by what appear to be... More

I don't know what's Spanish about spring rolls. Or fried calamari. If it wasn't for the service, and the Sangria, our friends hens night would have been a disaster. Definately not worth the money paid. I'd avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of authentic Spanish places around not to bother with this place again.
