Great chicken rice

This rather austere looking restaurant has been around for years, and has a steady stream of customers for their chicken rice and other Malay food. Their chicken rice is great, and with the opening of a gym just upstairs, chicken rice now comes in various sizes: regular, large, double and triple... read more

Char Kway Teow is all that needs to be said. Their version is wonderful, its smoky, its a tad burnt, its caramelised, its sweet with Chinese sausage and prawns and I cant get enough of it. I have had the Laksa which was nice but a little light on flavour. The Hainanese chicken rice is good but for me its... More

This restaurant'so service was so bad! I ordered one take away prawn noodle dish that took over 30 minutes to make...in that time a couple had sat down and finished their meal and I went to. Do my grocery shopping in the opposite grocer. There was no apology from the rude owner lady and after stating I had to go, the... More

From the outside, this eating house is not much to look at. It was a gamble that definitely paid off! I was greeted by the owner, who provided service with a smile. I ordered chicken rice, satay sticks and a few other noodle dishes, and I was blown away by the full-on flavour! The dishes were delicious to eat and... More

An unassuming Singapore/Malaysian joint located in an arcade. I had quite low expectations because of the appearance but was blown away by the quality of the food. The Singapore noodles and Char Kway Teow were both really very good and probably the best I've ever had in Sydney. I am totally amazed by this place and will definitely be back.... More

After travelling around Indonesia for 5 weeks...Im back home and have a craving for Nasi Goreng...Since this establishment is near my work place, I thought I'd have Nasi for lunch...BIG MISTAKE!!! This would be the WORST meal I have ever had....The rice had a burnt taste, there was burnt meaty bits (not sure what it was)...no egg, but cubed pieces... More

Nothing to look at from the outside but the food is simply delicious. I cannot get enough of the place. My favourite dish is their combination hor fun. I have it so regularly that the friendly staff tease me in a friendly way for having the same dish so often. It is so tasty and I go there when ever... More
