I held a 60 person Christmas party here last month in the 'bird cage' and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the location of the hotel itself is tops. We had food and beverage package and the food was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this venue for functions.

If your looking for an easy place to grab some food or a drink then Star Bar is a good place to go. Simple grub like pizzas, burgers, steak alongside beers, wine and a cocktail menu. Food is always okay, good size serving but they charge you for mayonnaise is always a problem....sometimes they charge you for a pot other... More

We often eat here when staying the CBD. It is cheap and good food. Nearly everything is under $20). I have had chicken parmigiana (with chips and salad) before and it was good. Last night we had the dinner special ($12) fish and chips and my husband had steak and chips ($12). He said that steak (250g grain fed angus)... More

It was pretty much bad from the word go, the security guard was rude due to me having hand tattoos, I almost didn't get in. The food was over priced and the chicken schnitzel I was served was raw in the middle. Paid 24$ for inedible food. Would not recommend this place at all

The food here is awful! I got a steak and mash and the steak was all grisly and the mash was packet mash (and if it wasn't it sure tasted like it was) I'll never eat here again

Dined here with friends on the weekend ordering the lunch special. The lunch special is terrific value and drinks are reasonably cheap. The lunch (fish and chips or steak) was only $10. Everyone was overly satisfied with their meal and aside from the look of the exterior, was a good experience. I'd return again.

I was here about 5 years ago and was bloody disgusting! Smelly carpet and outdated deco and it looked like somewhere where the backpackers and homeless people hang out. I clearly remember it smelled like public toilet and never went back! Just recently some friends of mine were here and invited me join and I was not too sure but... More

Weird carpets and leopard print wallpaper and cushions, find your inner retro here.. We were the only people in there which added to the eerie atmosphere, drinks are average price!
