Fun & affordable

Really fun cooking your own food on the grill. We had the bulgogi and some pork. All the lettuce and pickles we could get through. Very tasty. The side dish of pancake was not as good as I've had at other Korean places (outside of Sydney). We had a couple of beers and we came out having spent... read more

My wife and I visited here twice during our stay in Sydney. On both occasions we ordered the special menu and loved it! Plenty of meat, sauces and salad to accompany a great dish. Loved the way in which the meat is cooked before your eyes, very filling and reasonably priced. The staff gave great service and would repeatedly change... More

My friend and I visited the store today, and a waitress came saying they are under new management. She recommended a special menu, $22/person and for that the minimum possible order quantity was 2 servings. $44 for two person. We wanted to pass the special and wanted to order something else but the staff and the manager didn't give us... More

Just sit back and relax, then cook your food and eat it. Sipping on a Korean beer will make it all the more fun.

The idea is that you sit around a smokey BBQ and cook your own food and drink your own beer. Not a good idea for a first date but a unique restaurant and a good night out with a bunch of open minded friends. nb: you will smell like smoke when you emerge after your feed.

I have eaten at SSAM Korean BBQ several times and am never disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food delicious. You sit around a round, stainless steel table that in the middle has a pit for red hot coals and a grill. The food is bought to the table raw and is cooked on he grill. The staff help... More
