We found this BYO unexpectedly and could not be more pleased! The experience and the live music made for the perfect atmosphere! Food was great- sausage appetizer literally melted in your mouth. Can't wait to visit Sydney again to try more options. Family style cooking at its best.

Michael the owner has created a restaurant that gives the diner the opportunity to connect with others. Table for twenty has two long tables and the diner is meant to connect with those that sit next to them. I loved my experience. The buffalo cheese gnocchi was the best gnocchi I have eaten, slow cooked lamb was superb. Well worth... More

table for 20 is a unique experience-of a shared long table, with local produce-sharing the principles of the slow food movement. the thursday night we visited there was polenta and small prawns, gnocchi and chocolate and beetroot cake-while the food was homely, it was overpriced. however my big gripe was my neighbours at the long table!! i was at the... I hesitate to write a review because I don't want word getting out about this remarkable place. We went here for dinner after we got engaged and had a fantastic meal with great people in a people setting. We liked it so much we decided to host our rehearsal dinner here before our wedding. The bar upstairs is a great... More

We had wanted to dine here for ages and it didnt dissapoint. 2 big tables seating 20- we booked as a couple and were put on a table with other diners- we had a great night. Started with drinks in sticky then seated for dinner- delicious bread and mezze platter of hot and cold entrees to start followed by non-potato... More

By the time you spend the enforced hour in their sticky bar buying expensive drinks you end up paying way over the $70 per head. They charge booked numbers rather than heads on the night, because of some line about fresh seasonal produce bought only on the day: its not, its readily available and freezable. This is also their excuse... More

The sounds architecture is not well designed. Hence you can only talk to your direct neighbour. The food was good but for 70AUD only ok value for $. The setting is nice, all up not bad but rather for tourists. Cool concept but in reality it does not work. 3star rating.

This is definitely a unique concept, never seen before especially here in Sydney or Australia for that matter. For that main reason is why I feel it was just incredible. The food was beautiful, and hte best part of it, was every dish, the host Michael (and usually the cook/baker/handmake pasta maker) would tell you a story of why he... More

Good food, but honestly, being very fussy about my food - not shaken to my core for this price... i think it was expensive for the money we paid - 70 pp but BYO option is good... And the fact that they support the charity certainly is...

This place has gotten some very good write ups in some local papers and online, so my husband, sister-in-law and her kids decided to give it a go. We were a little apprehensive about having to sit on the same table with strangers and basically share a meal with them, but the experience was definitely unique and the whole concept... More
