Was here on Thursday night for a business dinner with a large group of approx 25, we were seated upstairs. Service was excellent, very quick with orders and keeping drinks full, this is a good place for a group so you can make as much noise as you want. The steaks are always good here, the entrees were a mostly... More

There are two restaurants with this name, with different owners - I have been to both, and I liked them both - but they are different experiences. This one, downtown on King Street, is much more a traditional steakhouse, low lighting, and very much about the food and drink. The other, in Wooloomoolloo is open with outside dining, and more... We found this restaurant online at the last minute and booked for four. The table was ready on our arrival and service throughout the night was excellent. Meals worked out at AUD80 per head including a bottle of wine and some deserts and some desert wines. One of the steaks was slightly over-cooked but as soon as this was mentioned... More

This used to be one of my favourite steakhouses but no longer. My ($20 for three) scallops arrived cold and when I told the server she made no comment and no offer of a replacement. My steak was good but the chips tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. A request for some more... More

I have eaten at Kingsleys from time to time over the last 15 years and am pleased to see the standard has been maintained. I never deviate from starting with some damper, a strip sirloin or fillet with baked potato and maybe a sticky dessert. Our steaks were excellent and also a small pan of garlic prawns. One of our... We had a lovely dinner with a very close Australian friend. We all had steak and they were superbly presented. Waiter service was attentive and very good selection of Wines either by the glass or bottle. A lovely evening was enjoyed by all..... NB It was so good we booked 11 New Zealanders, who were in Sydney at an International... More

A bit tired of the tourist-y seafood restaurants with incredible views on the water (boy are we getting jaded in this incredible city), we asked the Four Points Concierge for a recommendation of a steak house. As always, the Four Points staff delivered! Located in a wonderful old building off the beaten path, this charming restaurant provided one of the... More

Myself and my partner stumbled across this one going through my Entertainment Book. We were after a steak house in the city and thought we might try this one, after not being able to book in anywhere else. I am very glad we went there!! Booked online via their website, with no issues. To say their staff were fantastic was... More
