Or maybe of the 3 weeks I spent in Australia. Not a fancy fashion restaurant, a pure steakhouse. Various cuts in different sizes. I had the 650g rib on the bone: excellent.

If you are looking for a good old fashioned steakhouse in Sydney's CBD, then Kingsley's should definitely be considered on your go-to-list. It has a spacious open dining room with comfortable chairs and typical dark polished wooden furniture accents. Looking around the room, it definitely had a corporate vibe, with a male-dominated office worker clientele (this was a week night),... More

We were a group of 6 middle age males looking for some good quality old fashioned steak house with gret wine... and Kingsleys delivered. I had the Havericks Dry Aged Beef, NSW Whole beef primals are stored for balance of time & set temperature to slowly dry the exterior & develop a nutty flavour & tenderness to the beef inside.... We went here in June for my birthday and came back tonight for husband's. Nice swank room, good service, great food. Last time I got the vegetable side dishes (beans with almonds, honey carrots, cauliflower au gratin) and this time we tried the coleslaw and rocket salad. Excellent. Get the damper for starters. And both deserts were very tasty: creme... More

Went with Business colleagues for a reunion and we had a table upstairs which was nice and quiet despite there being many diners there it was spacious. The steak was pricey in some cases but my strip loin was perfectly cooked. We shared entrees and sides although some items were a little small to share so they recommended 2 of... More

This was a surprise to me, I've been to Kingsley's Steakhouse multiple times, and each time I remember it was being fantastic. This time I went with a group of people, we booked for 20, and basically got 2 x10, so we ended up being 2 groups of 10. The food came out tasting weird, and the service was very... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm very sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience and we did not live up to your expectations. The group was informed at the time of the booking that you would be on 2 tables as the restaurant was already near capacity and our private room... More

I took a visitor from the US to Kingsley's as he wanted to try real Aussie steaks. He was really impressed and so was I. All the steaks are on display close to the kitchen in the restaurant. Great service and the old sand stone building the restaurant is in makes inside nice and cosy.

This is one of my favourite steakhouses. Consistently good steaks, perfect chips, delectable accompaniments, variable service. My most recent business lunch was only for two, and we chose a quiet corner where we could safely discuss some confidential business matters. Despite running more than 30 minutes late we were accommodated without fuss and attended to promptly. Meals were surprisingly quick... More

Went during a week night, managed to get a good seat in the corner next to kitchen. Fantastic selection of meat from the grill, especially the ribeye fillet, tender steak with red wine jus, cooked perfectly in the middle. Would prefer greater choices of side dishes and seasonal menu items, perhaps small bites or soup. Waiter was little slow due... More
