This restaurant seems to be very popular in the area. We went for dinner one evening and it was packed with people (the restaurant is really big) and yet there was about 10 people waiting to be sitted. Luckly enough being only two people it was easier for us to get a table. Not being at all an expert on... More

I finally got a chance to visit this restaurant and it didn't disappoint! The place was very busy for a Tuesday night but the service was attentive and friendly..... entrée came out very quickly curry puffs flavour was great but could have been a bit larger. Had coconut rice and green beef curry for main which was one of the... More

We often pick our local eatery Thai Pothong when visitors come to Sydney because it offers great cheap eats in a unique unparalleled artistic environment. Yes it's huge, but the food is great, it arrives quickly there's lots to look at (usually a packed restaurant any night as well as great Thai artefacts everywhere). We also appreciate how they employ... More

Went here yesterday night for dinner with my boyfriend. Service was really good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The interior decor of this restaurant felt like we were somehow in Thailand. Lots of paintings and lots of elephant statues. We ordered a red curry and a chicken pad see ew. The portions were decently sized but the price... More

Fantastic food! Highly recommend the betel leaf prawn dish. Gorgeous flavour, interesting textures, fun food. The red curry is super yummy. The crying tiger grilled beef is great. The Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups are delightful. Haven't had a bad dish here. If you pay in cash you can earn Pothong dollars to spend in their gift shop. Enjoy!

Convenient to the railway station and ideal for dinner if you are going to the Enmore Theatre. This restaurant serves a wide range of delicious and nicely presented Thai food. Service was quick and the presentation superb. The staff are obsequious but friendly and knowledgeable about the various dishes on the menu. You'll need a booking at a weekend but... More

One of our favourite Thai restaurants in Sydney. Was there last week with my boyfriend and in laws. The food as usual was great and the service just gets better. While the restaurant was busy the food still came out on time. The staff I would rate as the most knowledgeable and can fully explain all dishes on the menu... More

Food here was delicious! The restaurant was very busy so I would highly recommend making a booking prior. The staff were friendly and very attentive. I loved the beautiful decorations and interior. Will most definitely be back again.

To put it simply, the food was less than impressive & over priced for what it was, the service was rude, and the over all experience was a big let down considering all the hype this place seems to have gotten. The duck salad not only took half an hour to arrive, but was gritty and bland, the only upside... More
