Every time I visit Sydney I must pay a visit to Madang, I have visited many Korean restaurants all over the world but I must say this one is my favourite, sometimes it's a hassel to get a table but once you do it's worth it. It's a bit costly but as I said it's worth it. Love it!

Have been visiting Madang for the past few years and is a firm favorite. Even my overseas visitors agree and will recommend it to other friends. Cannot book so best get early. Fried chilli chicken and seafood pancake is a must!

I'm not a fan of korean food, but I do think this reaturant offered great service and good food. There wasn't much of a queu and the service was quick, the food was tasty and the place looked ok. Not sure if I would go back again, but I do recommend it.

After reading the reviews on this restaurant we decided it was time to try Korean cuisine and this looked like a good place to start. We had made an attempt at dining here a week or two back but the queue was a little too long that night. We enjoyed our meal and the authentic atmosphere of the restaurant -... More

I had dinner at Madang a few months ago but haven't gotten around to a review. I'm not sure why because I have done other write-ups in that time. It could be that after being told by others how great it is, I was rather underwhelmed by my own experience. We went for a BBQ meal there and had to... More

We wanted something different for the last night of our family stay in Sydney (kids 10, 13, 14) so we headed to Madang for our first Korean meal. It is a bit odd to walk up a slightly dingy alley to see lots of people waiting outside but don't be put off and be brave. Ask for a table and... More

Had to wait around 20 minutes. But the food was yummy. The bulgogi,The spicy tofu soup, the kalbi. The waiters bit slow to respond when we call them though.

I'm personally a korean food lover, which also means i've tried most of them, in Malaysia and even Korea. so i didn't expect much from a korean restaurant in a western country, but turned out, its SO GOOD! loved the pancake, very crunchy! please try the kimchi jigae too! tastes great i must say. not a meat lover, so not... Got there at 6.30pm, and the queue was long, just ready to give up when... More

I tried going here about a month back. Queue was massive, wait in excess of a half hour. So went next door (O Bal Tan) Came back last night for another try, 20min wait .. I put up with it .. apparently it's all "part of the experience" these days. There are some experiences one could do without. Windy seat... More
