Find the sign to this restaurant on Pitt Street and peek into the adjacent alleyway to find this restaurant - area looks slightly dodgy but is fairly busy. Arrive to tell the front of house the number of people you have and if you need to wait collect a ticket bud from them. We waited for about 15 minutes (this... More

Everyone raved about this restaurant but me, and my korean friend were highly disappointed. Ranging from bad service with no smile or greeting to bad tasting food. I have tasted much better korean food and wouldn't go again. Many have complimented this restaurant so maybe they were just having a really bad day/missing a few ingredients?

Arrived there around 6pm on Saturday afternoon. Didn't have to wait too long after getting a ticket - 5 minute wait. Ordered two meat dishes for the bbq hot plate, noodles and a pork pancake. The servers replaced the hot plate after every cooking. There was plenty of food for the two of us. Service was great and the food... More

We always visit Madang when in Sydney and it never disappoints. the food is beautiful. We love the bulgolgi and spiced chicken. Seafood pancake also great. The service is quick also.

First time for everyone here. Only booked for nine people but there was eleven of us. At the front was a massive queue of people waiting to get in, pays to book even at a short number no problem. Upstairs in a long table, and two waiters to get our orders one for drinks and one for the food order.... More

Every time we go there, which is at least once a fortnight, we get the same thing. We tried different things in the beginning but we are suckers for routine which means if it isn't as good each time we get stroppy. We get the fried dumplings and seafood pancake to start. The sides that you get for free are... More

Bulgogi is my favourite and it was great here too so I'd recommend that - wish we'd ordered more! In fact all the meats were delicious, I'd give special mention to the spicy pork too. Aside from the BBQ mains the array of side dishes are always a highlight for me, some delicious, some not, none of which I know... More

I am not very adventurous when it comes to food and stick to the basics. My friends dragged me here and I could not thank them enough. The food here is great and so is the service. I am just not sure about their policy of not letting people book tables...but otherwise it was great.

Every time I visit Sydney I must pay a visit to Madang, I have visited many Korean restaurants all over the world but I must say this one is my favourite, sometimes it's a hassel to get a table but once you do it's worth it. It's a bit costly but as I said it's worth it. Love it!

Have been visiting Madang for the past few years and is a firm favorite. Even my overseas visitors agree and will recommend it to other friends. Cannot book so best get early. Fried chilli chicken and seafood pancake is a must!
