We had a very pleasant evening with nibbles and drinks and a beautiful view of the Queen Victoria Building. I was very impressed by my fig, Gorgonzola and prosciutto pizza and they have chosen some great olives. The Glass bar serves marvellous cocktails - somewhat expensive but I am happy to pay for a great result. Service is quite slow... More

Been here a few times for breakfast and dinner. Pricing and environment is set for a fine dining experience so review is based on that context. This time went for breakfast. It was pretty busy but service was slow and it took a full 20 plus minutes from asking for the bill to actually being able to pay it. Breakfast... More

I think Glass is one of the sleepers of the Sydney restaurant scene. Had a business lunch yesterday and the food was really stunning. Shared 3 starters, including the zucchini flowers, the sashimi of kingfish, and cheesy cigars on a beetroot relish. Each was just so good, and the sashimi and the cigars outstanding. I then had the dish of... More

Luke Mangan was one of the pioneers of modern Australian fine dining. He is so entrenched in our cuisine culture that it's almost impossible to believe that every venue he owns (of which there are many) could possibly maintain that same Michelin-star quality across the board. We're going to go ahead on shut down any of those misguided thoughts. Glass... More

It was my daughters wish to go there from her visiting overseas trip! - The place is modern, if you get a table towards the Queen Victoria Building site it is stunning. Unluckily pair's are seated on their rows of boring 2-seater tables next to each other. The Menu is reading great. For me it was the 'From our own... More

Lunch for four. Wine list comprehensive and unsurprisingly pricey (matches the food). That said, the food was excellent and the service attentive without being overbearing. The Morton Bay bug and pork belly entree was a joy.

Excellent afternoon in the sun. Roast pork pancakes, roast peppers and pork scratchings. The scratchings had a solidified balsamic foam as an accompaniment, I've never seen this before, fantastic.

A local friend chose this because she loves the food here and she was able to get a same-day reservation (for an early dinner on a Tuesday). The food was indeed fantastic, we had (between the two of us) a small plate of oysters (always good in Sydney), 3 tapas (all good, the squid was the best), and a small... More

Had breakfast here - very slow service and very expensive. Wasn't told a flat white coffee was an extra charge.

I originally popped into the Hilton's Glass Brasserie as a second choice. I wanted to go to the Zeta Bar upstairs but it was closed for a private Christmas Function. On arrival, I snagged a small table for me and two friends by the window. Within minutes of sitting down, we were acknowledged and given the cocktail and nibbles menu.... More
