this is a great local pub. the special of the days is great value and the staff are all good kids. the management work some days and it keeps the staff on their toes. the sell different craft beers all the time (if that's your thing) and they have live music, trivia and so on. A note worthy entry in... More

This pub is very close to Sydney Uni and is pleasantly revamped without being over the top. It isnt a Gastropub by any stretch of the imagination but is a reliable choice for a meal. I had the ribs, coleslaw and chilli fries which was quite good but not great value at $25! My friend had the better value rump... More

This place is close to my office and we enjoy the mid week lunch. However went there Sunday roast as was in the area. Advertised as Sunday Roast - Pork Belly or half a chicken. We had one of each. The chicken was half as said, we non crispy new potatoes and a GREEK SALAD! I don't particularly like raw... More

We often have midweek dinner at the pub bistro as they have a decent but limited kids menu and colouring-in stuff. Not busy around 6 pm so crazy kids not a problem. Fast service and good range of beers and adult food. I can recommend the Haloumi salad.

This hotel has a sunday roast day-fantastic pork roast with crackling for a low $15. Great value! Family atmosphere.

This was our local pub, best know for a great coffee shop (rather missed) at the back where University staff went to work and meet. But am increasingly going back there now for great food, fab boutique beer and cider on tap and a really good atmosphere and service. I am addicted to their $10 chicken parmagiana served with the... This pub was revamped last year from a dingy, seedy space to a cool and casual local pub. The renovation didn't go overboard; this is not one of those blonde wood and no personality pubs. There's still a hint of grunge but the greatness now lies in the service and the menu. The staff are friendly and helpful (the last... More

Had dinner here with family and friends including two teenage (15 / 17) sons. No tables available in the formal dining area when we arrived, but staff said they would let us know as soon as one was available and they did. In the meantime, we ordered drinks and were seated in an adjacent room for about 15 minutes. Food... More

The food here is amazing. Portion sizes are huge and reasonably priced. I came here with work friends and we got several dishes to share. Our collective favourites were the prawn pizza and spaghetti meatballs. A special mention goes out to their fries purely because of the delicious dipping sauce which is mayo mixed with a little smoked paprika. It's... More
