Friendly and helpful staff. Genuinely nice people ! Superb food and great service. Very easy to find and lots of on-street parking ( mid-day Friday ) . This was our first visit, it wont be our last !

We had a 2pm reservation on a Sunday. We were seated promptly in an ok position in the middle of the dining space. We didn't have a direct view but it was still pleasant. We were left a tad too long before anybody asked if we would like water, and then even longer before anybody asked if we would like... More

Went to The Boathouse to celebrate our anniversary, and had a really cracking time. The venue is fabulous, sitting on Blackwattle Bay with the Anzac Bridge and the city in front of us. It was a calm, fairly quiet venue that served up plenty by way of ambience. After an amazing cod roe / caviar entree, we had the Perch,... More

I hate wine lists that have excessively priced wines on them, and then cheaper (but not cheap) ones that you don't like. Anything I wanted to order was $170+, what I did order was $70 and it wasn't great (ok, to my taste...). It's a pet hate and whilst I know restaurants have to make money out of alcohol......gouging makes... More

As a birthday dinner out this venue offered a beautiful vista and sensational Snapper Pie. The menu selection is more than adequate and the service was very attentive. The suggestion of their signature dish (Snapper Pie} was really worthwhile and at the end of a wonderful evening we were informed that this had been on their menu for more than 16... We had a very long lunch here for the first time in many years. Yet again, it did not disappoint. A drizzly, sombre Sunday afternoon, that fantastic working harbour view, what better excuse than to start with a cocktail, then a champagne with freshly shucked oysters. That fish pie is still the go to dish (I have since been inspired... More

The Boathouse had a great vibe, good service and delicious food. The only downfall was that it was so far away. You have a fantastic view of the Anzac Bridge, and I read online they offer a ferry service, which wasn't running at this time of year and very unclear sign posting....

Nice atmosphere with understated but elegant decor. Food price was on the high side and does not match the food taste and quality which was average. Wait staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

One of a special occasion - the restaurants overlooks Blackwattle Bay in sydney with a great view of ANzac Bridge (and if you are there at night you will see the odd illuminated tour boat pass by from the nearby wharf), the restaurant is stylish but restrained as if it does not have to show off its style. The staff... More

Gorgeous location in Sydney, brilliant waitstaff - our waiter Brad was professional, efficient and friendly. Snapper pie is to die for. Can't wait to go back and get it again. Oh and the caviar. Highly recommended.
