Extraordinary range of oysters, even though I dont eat them!

picturesque setting overlooking the water. Group of 4 so 4 different entrees which were all beautiful albeit very small for the price. At $27 an entree I deserve more than 3 scallops! Main courses with sides were more substantial and with endless bread (lovely bread) we didnt leave hungry. At $500... read more

Our Sunday lunch at The Boathouse was superb. Our waiter was attentive, informative & extremely patient. All meals were absolutely delicious with perfectly recommended wines to suit. Located on the Harbour with beautiful ambience this restaurant delighted us all.

Went with a largish family group to celebrate a birthday - and found it REALLY doesn't warrant its high price tag. Unless you're happy to pay for the beautiful setting/outlook - and the food is secondary to you. 3 of us (including me) went for their signature dish which is Snapper Pie. Now at $48 it is a very expensive... More

On a gorgeous Sydney day, what a perfect way to enjoy a Saturday lunch with relaxing views of the working harbour and spectacular refined dishes which showcase seafood at its finest! The only real problem we encountered was the difficulty in choosing which menu items to have... I opted to share the salt and pepper spanner crab for an entree... More

Leave some extra time to find a street park near this popular restaurant. Better still, take the light rail to Glebe and then the restaurant is a 10 minute walk, or take a water taxi and arrive in style. There is valet parking on Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant has a lovely, open, wood and glass feel and there... More

Really enjoyed the food and service here and the location is excellent. Possibly a bit over rated as there are many better restaurants not rated as highly but its still an excellent restaurant if that makes sense.

Booked a dinner here during one of our last nights in Sydney before heading to Queensland. Restaurant is situated above a boathouse on Blackwattle Bay at the end of a suburban street. Valet parking is available or you can use a taxi or water taxi. We used taxi both ways and it is around 10 mins from central Sydney. The... More

We have dined here before and enjoyed the experience; the last two times we had our dinner paid for. I don't think we would return to pay for ourselves. This time we arrived by water taxi from Circular Quay with friends visiting from overseas - quite a trip and an arrival. The food was great, the ambience special and the... More

Great location, ambiance is nice, friendly and attentive staff very willing to help out with the menu. The shellfish and fish from the menu were very fresh and of a good quality but most of the 'mains' dishes lack creativity. Although the fish itself is very good fish, that's all there is to it, the dishes were quite bland and... More
