Great evening

Had a corporate function there last week to celebrate the company's 10th anniversary. 5 of us visited this restaurant on 8th August 2015 for son's birthday. From the moment we stepped into this place, it was warmth. This is the third time we have visited and I just had to write about it. From the lovely open fire to the service, to the freshness of the seafood, wine list, the view, even 5... More

I have been going to the Boathouse for the past 6-7years and when I visited recently I left disappointed. The food was still good (mmmmm snapper pie - although pastry was unevenly cooked and the drama of seeing it being plated was gone) everything else seemed meh. Service was not good, it was slow, and disjointed. The bilinis came out... More

Great Seafood, Great service, They definitely deserve the attention, We had gone for the first time and had few requests, the second time the waitress was briefed and knew what exactly out requests were, even though she was a different waitress,

The Boathouse still does wonderful food with respect for fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. You'll have to be fond of seafood - even though they add meat (chicken, chorizo) to a fair few of their dishes, which reduces your choice if you are a non-meat eater. We were a group of five and sampled a range of starters and mains,... More

This was a family celebration lunch & our group ranged from 2 little children, 19 months, 4 years to 75 years. The service was absolutely top class& the children were catered for, beautifully. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had a very quiet table in a beautiful location in the restaurant The meal was absolutely magnificent. The... More

they couldn't be bothered lighting the fire on a crisp winter evening, there were no table cloths, candles or flowers so no ambiance. The servings tasted great but were just plain mean 3 prawns for a $27 entree and a main with the absolute smallest fillet of fish, a teaspoon of celeriac puree for $44. Come on! This is supposed... So I had anniversary dinner with my girlfriend, but because we arrived from overseas that evening I had to pick a restaurant while she was having a shower. I searched internet and found this place and decided to give it a go. Was not disappointed. They serve freshly chucked oysters of many kinds, we had mixed plater and it was... More

We were celebrating my husband's birthday and he LOVES seafood. I'm vegetarian so we normally don't go to seafood restaurants. They have a vegetarian entree and main and the main was quite good (I didn't try the entree), my husband really loved the oysters and fish dish and we both loved our dessert. We went to a 6.30 sitting and... More

We choice this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary but unfortunately the poor service put a dampener on the night! We were shown to our seats, immediate thoughts was lovely decor and views/ location. Menus were on the table so my partner and I looked through both the extensive food and wine menu. After waiting for around 10 minutes without any... More
