Que up people. My first time in Mamak. You will find it worth when u have that first bite of roti n curry. Great flavours not complex at all(coming from a chef). Love the simple menu. You may have to wait to get a seat and order but the food was fairly quick to reach our tables but in installments.... More

We have to stand in a long queue and we waited for approx 30 minutes. This restaurant has varieties of Malaysian Roti. Food was good. Service was just average.

The wait is definitely worth it! It's soooooo good! Incredible. We had to wait for only 30 minutes, on a weekend night. Just try different things on the menu and share.

Extremely popular place with a line outside both times we went. After about a 20 minute wait we got a table next to a noisy bunch but the waitress noticed and moved us to a better spot away from the crowd. Waitress was also very good with my partners peanut allergy and reassured her that would be fine despite the... More

In SoCal, the señoras make tortillas in the front window. In NY, the giovani make pizza dough in the front window. In Sydney they make the Roti in the front window. I've rarely been disappointed with establishments that use this type on marketing. It attracts crowds, but if the food wasn't good, they wouldn't be so crowded. To avoid crowds... More

The food was absolutely amazing! We stumbled across the roti in a street food fair a few nights prior to eating dinner. I was glad that I researched the place to know to get their early in order to avoid waiting. By the time we left the line was well down the street. The service was good. They were attentive... More

After visiting and Penang earlier in the year, we fell in love with Malaysian food. Even though the food has it's roots in India, it is delicious. This place did not disappoint, tasted as we remembered in Malaysia. Ordered Roti's and Satays, both were delicious. We ate lunch here one day, but they are also open late night on Saturdays,... They don't take reservations and we did wait in line for 50 minutes on a weekday but it was worth the wait because the food was amazing! I wish we would have known it was BYOB but it was still good. It was super busy and the staff was a bit rushed but the food came out quick and it... More

Above average in many ways but apart from the value, there is not any single dish or feature that will give me a craving. Roti Canai is a nice snack, Ayam goreng is a light-battered fried chicken with Malaysian flavour. Service is hectic and a little under-staffed. Nice food. We went there for lunch. We waited five minutes before having a table. I had the national malaysian dish with chicken curry. I don't put 5stars as the restaurant has nothing "exceptional"
