Based on the other reviews stick with the high tea. We ordered a meal. Although a good meal it was too slow and not worth the price. The table we were on was not a dining table with bars underneath making it difficult to sit. The odd flower in a vase might add something to the dining tables. Overall the... More

The setting is lovely, memories of past days. But for $42 a head I expected more. I got the feeling and taste that the CUT sandwiches were made much earlier and covered with plastic to retain freshness. The absolute freshness I expected just wasn't there. also, this is my personal opinion, for me I would have liked more of a... More

I loved this experience. The staff were very accommodating and the person that served our table informed us that she was brand new and would call a more experienced person if we required. The menu for food and drink is very varied. The selection of available teas was staggering. I chose the high tea and my daughter had the duck... More

Frequent flyer at the tearoom, excellent teas and foods. Staff are 99% excellent, food good but its an overal memorable experience. Its mostly about the ambiance and using the Royal Albert if your a crockery nut like me....

Overall I would say our experience was average. First off, I was not impressed by their tea menu. They hardly had any decaf options and when I asked the waitress about the teas, she knew nothing about them and couldn't even pronounce them. The service was on the slow side but not to the point I would complain, however a... More

I visited on Easter Saturday ,The place is elegant , the crockery used gorgeous , the coffee I had was of the most exceptional quality and delicious , not too strong not bitter , just perfect. The food looked good , people were partaking of delicious looking mini cakes and petit sandwiches seemingly enjoying them . Had I had an... More

We have tried a number of High Tea's around Sydney and The Tea Room has the most delicious food so far. We had the "Sparkling Afternoon Tea" which began with a nice cold bubbly, followed by delicious fare and a large selection of teas served in lovely Royal Albert china! The service was efficient and friendly. Only one minor let-down,... More
