Nice little tea room, lovely tea

I come here with friends whenever I'm in town. Lovely cakes, sandwiches and bubbly. Good portions and they are generous with extra sandwiches if you're ravenous. Nice little haven in the middle of the city, grateful for the comfortable powder rooms! Be sure to book in advance.

Was a very underwhelming experience. reviews sounded wonderful but was not at all like them. Service was great couldn't fault that on a busy day. The poor excuses of sandwich that arrived were dry and stale. Fillings inside the sandwiches were lacking in flavour and were so thinly spread you could hardly tell what it was. The "3" flavoured macaroons... More

I had a gift voucher given to me for High Tea. I was so delighted to walk into the room and see the beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The waiter was just so perfectly attired and so polite I was charmed right from the start. The tea came in a personal tea pot and the cakes were on a... More

The food was 100% improvement on last time but still something was missing......maybe it was my lemon curd boat thingy cake. A big improvement QVB...keep it up....might... More

We decided to have afternoon tea here and although it is a little pricey for what you get, the ambience is quite lovely. Great cup of tea as well. Tucked right up the top at one end of the QV Building and if you don't know it is there, then you would miss it. It was raining outside so it... More

A very good High Tea, one of the best I have had in Sydney - all the elements, China, food and a good cuppa - shop first or afterwards - relaxing and delicious

Went here today with a friend and my parents, just a nice special treat for us, I struggled to find the place, it is tucked right out of the way in the QVB, but it's worth hunting it down! The surrounding is beautiful, very sophisticated, but not snobby, staff are very attentive, but not in the way. We all opted... More

Visited with my husband and friends for morning tea. We all enjoyed our tea choices from peppermint to red roses. We had plenty of food and didn't feel the need to eat again until dinner. The venue is just superb and we would definitely return
