Delicious! Delightful! Decadent!

The one and only important tip- do book well in advance - otherwise you will be turned away and it may not be done politely! Once inside - the ambience, the decor, the style, the service and of course the food - just too good. Very relaxing! Very invigorating! All in all a great experience!

Came in with high hopes but left with extreme disappointment. The hostess was haughty and sat us in the corner near storage, when the whole venue was empty. Service ignored us the whole time. I personally, felt that the tea room was discriminating customers. The venue itself is a beautiful space with high Victorian ceilings. Tea and finger food are... More

I had the Traditional High Tea with my mother at the exquisite Tea Room in the Queen Victoria Building, Sydney. The staff were attentive yet non-invasive and perfectly friendly. The ambiance was nice. The food was a little disappointing, the various little cakes and savories were acceptable but I had no desire to eat anything twice. We were waited on... More

What a fun experience to do when in Sydney. I must admit I had capacinno instead of tea. The scones were enormous and the clouted cream and jam were delicious I was not a big fan of the gherkin with salmon but I am not an Aussie. All the petite fors were scrumptious and they were trying out a blood... More

Attended High Tea with a group of 11 girls friends. Beautiful venue with gorgeous silverware , delicate crockery , grand ceilings and breathtakingly chandeliers. Food was delicious and plentiful and staff were attentive and exceptional. Lovely way to spend an Saturday afternoon.

I received a voucher as a present so I decided to take the trip in & it was well worth it !!! The food and the tea are not the best I've ever had but the ambience makes up for anything that is lacking.. From the moment we walked in the door we were waited on hand and foot..would definitely... I recently visited in July 2015 - this was my 3rd visit to the Tea Room, but the previous times were a couple of years ago. The food and the tea was still lovely, it is all beautifully presented, and the service from the wait staff is quite good especially considering how busy it gets. BUT after being told that... More

Was a very underwhelming experience. reviews sounded wonderful but was not at all like them. Service was great couldn't fault that on a busy day. The poor excuses of sandwich that arrived were dry and stale. Fillings inside the sandwiches were lacking in flavour and were so thinly spread you could hardly tell what it was. The "3" flavoured macaroons... More

I had a gift voucher given to me for High Tea. I was so delighted to walk into the room and see the beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The waiter was just so perfectly attired and so polite I was charmed right from the start. The tea came in a personal tea pot and the cakes were on a... More
