Had the hot chocolate in the hug mug and was disappointed that there was no marshmallows. The hot chocolate was also not hot enough. Others in my group had the waffles and thought they were delicious. I would probably not go back because I have had nicer hot chocolates just about everywhere else.

Menu: Tutti-Frutti Waffle and Classic Milkshake Review: The place is a little bit expensive, but it's a fair price due the welcoming atmosphere and the excellent staff attendance. The waffle was tasty and for sure is a good option for who loves chocolate. The Classic Milkshake was ok, but wasn't different from what you can do at home.

I've eaten at a couple of Max Brenner's, and as any chain, they're all much the same. I do think they need to increase or vary their range to remain competitive in an increasing environment of chocolatiers. I did notice this one was more efficient than my local, which was refreshing.

Belgian waffles leave you immovable of goodness and fullness, worth every penny it's worth! An order can be as much as a whole meal for an average Asian like me (left me not having legal dinner actually). It has a cozy ambience inside the cafe of brown wood motif and with accent lighting all over the place that sets the... More

The chocolate was good but I am sure they forgot our order. We waited about 30 minutes for our order to come through and this did temper what should have been a good experience.

On July 28, 2014 I visited the Max Brenner location at Shop 9A, Castle Towers 6-14 Castle Street in Castle Hill NSW 2154. The employees were very friendly and were willing to take the time to explain the menu selections...which can be quite overwhelming given so many delicious choices! Rhea and Blake, two employees I encountered were very helpful. The... More

Its true - its not too dissimilar to the Wonka factory - just minus Johnny Depp & Gene Wilder. There's pipes of chocolate running overhead, tubs of chocolate stirring, chocolate to buy and eat later, chocolate to buy and eat now, chocolate to drink......white, dark or milk! There's also teas and coffees - but WHY!? If ya want coffee...go to... More

I think pretty much everyone has heard of Max Brenner, and we've been told by all of our friends that we had to come here and that it's amazing, but hearing is different from tasting. The smell when you walk in the door is cacao overload, and the place exudes chocolate from the dark wooden tables to the chocolate leather... More

Wow all my dreams have come true! Anything chocolate is available here. The place was full at 9pm on a week night. I had a lovely creamy hot chocolate that was beautiful.
