We all enjoyed the ambiance and the dedication of the waitress, especially as she guided us through a most comprehensive menu and wine list. The food was amazing ,we had ocean trout and veal cutlet which was very well presented,, as well as entrees. We shared desserts and the Pinot Gris was well chilled and welcome after our morning travels.... More

We really enjoyed Bambini for our last night's dinner in Sydney. A dark, little oasis off the street, the warm atmosphere welcomes as does its staff. The food and wine, as well as dessert were all fabulous. We started with the caprese, very fresh and excellent. We both had the pappardelle, very Italian and excellent as well. The dessert was... This place is oozing with class and such a friendly atmosphere. The coffee is excellent but doesn't feel wanky like so many other places now do. It just feels old school. I could not recommend it highly enough and if you don't have the Alaskan King crab omelette then you are an idiot ... First class.

I chose the Wine Room for a first date - it was perfect! A bit like an intimate Parisian wine bar with dim lighting, excellent service, knowledgeable staff and an extensive wine list. We had 2 dishes from the bar menu - the calamari was delicious and tender and the arincini balls were tasty with lots of parmesan (both generous... More

I have been quietly enjoying meals at Bambini Trust for years and finally thought it was time to share. The restaurant is a little hidden gem in central Sydney, the dining room is delightful and intimate. The service is flawless and the wait staff are among the best around. They know their menu well and easily provide detailed descriptions of... More

I have been to the wine bar on several occasions and it's fun, however never visited the restaurant ...and it was perfect! The management and staff are attentive well healed with a cordial sense of familiarity and sense of humour...experience without the pretence. It was a girls lunch and we almost always do share plates. Have to say, there were... More

What a wonderful venue! We celebrated my mums 50th birthday here and had 50 guests. The party was a surprise and the staff could not have been more helpful and delightful. The service was impeccable, as was the food and selection of beautiful wines. The manager Shane was so organized, nothing was a trouble, he allowed everything to run extremely... More

Has to be the best little secret in Sydney. Food is fresh, delicious and portion size is perfect. Prices quite reasonable. More a business location than couples retreat but my wife is always happy to be taken there. When are you opening Saturday's?

This is one of Sydney's little treasures. It is an authentic italian restaurant where you are served by knowledgable and friendly waiters. The food is 5 star quality, it has a wonderful range of wines and is relatively expensive but memorable. It's the kind of place you want to go back to. Make sure you book ahead, it's always full.... Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
