What a great night. We were very lucky to be part of the last nights service at this Sydney institution. It also happened to be my first visit. The food was very good as was the service. It's a shame we can go no more.

We visited Claude's on 15 June 2013 and had their 8 course degustation. Wonderful food, wine and service. Each course was special in itself and the portions were just right - leaving us fully satisfied at the end of the 8 courses, but not having over eaten. We will go back next time we're in Sydney.

We went for my birthday had the degustation with the wine flight upstairs in the formal restaurant. Everything was great. Abbey in particular is passionate & knowledgeable about wine. Not cheap but an extraordinary experience suitable for a special occasion ( or for cashed up foodies).

We recently visited Claudes for the first time in many years. We had the eight course dinner, with wines. The food was elegant, clever and very interesting, and just enough to satisfy. About 3 decades after our last visit we found Claude's to be as good as ever. Fine dining has moved upstairs and the food is innovative, well balanced and well portioned. Fine dining experience in a relaxed bar atmosphere. Opening a bar area gives diners the relaxed mood and still delivering excellent food. Decor is funky and interesting. Specialities like souffles are still something to return to, time after time. Do leave room for the decadent desserts!
